Owner of Penzeys Spice Co. Trashes Trump Supporters, Calling Them “RACIST” and Saying They Must be “PUNISHED”
This guy is probably the dumbest businessman in America.
On one hand, he’s proudly calling all Trump supporters “racist,” on the other hand he claims Trump has no support.
Bill Penzey, the beta-male owner of Penzeys Spices, wrote two “open letters” on the Penzeys Spices Facebook page where he accused all Trump supporters of being openly racist.
His vitriol, ignorance, and hate is stunning.
His stupidity as a businessman is breathtaking.
It’s more mentally unstable behavior from emotionally stunted liberals, who are unable to comprehend or process loss.
Penzey also claims that since his attack on Trump supporters his business has increased.
Haha, sure, thing, buddy.

Our customers come from all walks of life. The kindness of cooks knows no borders or divides. In the aftermath of the election, seeing the intentional damage inflicted on so many outside the white heterosexual male world, we raised our voice. We felt we had to. We did this because we are Penzeys. The Spice business is so intertwined with history that it’s not really possible to have one without the other. It became clear to us that we are now in a moment history will long have its eyes upon. For the sake of our customers, and for the sake of future generations, we felt the time had come to stand on the right side of history.
And while the reasons for why we took a stand might be specific to our unique outlook, what we learned actually applies to all commerce in the United States. What we learned is that President-elect Donald Trump has no real support. Voters, sure, but no constituency. Running a campaign on “that horrible-terrible-woman who should be locked up,” while at the same time working to raise fear of minorities among white voters with limited access to education, clearly achieved its goal. But none of it left Americans with any sense of connection to the candidate they actually voted for.
Willing to take a hit for what is right, we did what we did. In the two weeks since, online sales are up 59.9%, gift box sales up 135%. And we didn’t have a catalog arrive in this window this year, while last year we had 1.1 million! Yes, maybe for the moment we have lost 3% of our customers because of the so-called “right wing firestorm.” And, yes, they send emails of rage, and ALL CAPS, and bad language with the hope of creating the perception that they are bigger than they really are. But what we learned is that, in terms of retail spending, Donald Trump simply has no one supporting his views for America. He has no constituency.
America’s Values, on the other hand, have a really sizable constituency, and that constituency moves quickly to support those that stand up for the values of America. If, as a company, you have values, now is the time to share them. You may well lose a chunk of your AM radio-listening customers, but if you really are honest and sincere, don’t be surprised to see your promotions suddenly, finally, find active engagement with the Millennial generation.
And the time for this really is now. We understand all too well that, with the holidays, December is a tough month to get things done. We understand that a change in direction will not be easy, but you are where you are because you don’t need things to be easy. If you wait until after the wheels come off the track for the incoming administration, this moment will have passed. And while there’s no bad time to do the right thing, to do the right thing at the same time as others in your industry will work so much better than waiting until someone else has shown the way.
In this moment there is finally the real chance to unite our nation in our shared rejection of sexism, homophobia, and racism. This is your chance to stand up for America’s values and make January a tent pole in your company’s history. Opportunities to do the right thing at the time when doing the right thing makes all the difference come once in a lifetime. Make your history proud.

In the emails of those Republicans who voted for someone other than the party’s nominee, I sensed genuine pain at having the strength of character to not go along with what was happening, but nonetheless be grouped in with those who were. I apologize for writing something that caused you pain; that is not the person I want to be. You are your party’s future, and you deserve my admiration and respect, and your country’s as well.For the rest of you, you just voted for an openly racist candidate for the presidency of the United States of America. In your defense, most of you did so without thinking of the consequences of your candidate’s racism because, for most of you the heartbreaking destruction racism causes has never been anything you or your loved ones have had to experience. But the thing is elections have their consequences. This is no longer sixty years ago. Whether any of us like it or not, for the next four years the 80% of this country who did not just vote for an openly racist candidate are going to treat you like you are the kind of person who would vote for an openly racist candidate.
We’re asking Trump supporters and anyone who disagrees with a company owner calling half of America”racists” to BOYCOTT Penzeys Spices and let your voices be heard.

BLM “Black Lives Matter?” Really, more like. Blacks Love Murdering, and they need to answer why they are not upset and doing something about the fact that 90% of murdered blacks are murdered by other blacks.
The following statics are from a black author and radio host in St Louis, Kevin Jackson. He was on Justice with Jeanie this past summer.
More whites are killed in a white community per capita by police than blacks in a black community.
Whites are more likely to be detained by police than blacks.
The level of crimes done by blacks is under reported.
Six thousand blacks were killed last year, 2015 and less than two hundred were killed by police.
Blacks in San Francisco resist arrest eight times more than whites.
Black males make up 9% of the population and commit 54% of the crimes.
So far in 2016 the following are the numbers of people killed by police per race:
Number of whites killed by police: 275
Number of blacks killed by police: 136
Number of Hispanics killed by police: 86

I am a retired business ownèr, college educated. A woman, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and above all of the rest I am a Christian. We are not racist I sent my workers to Africa to teach women to sew so they could make a living. We made thousands of eyeglass case covers for their medical missions. My best friends are gay, it is my job to love. I have supported president elect Trump from the beginning because he believes in the Constitution. He believes in reducing our drugs that are entering our country..and HE will provide jobs for Americans. Taking that in consideration, and not even getting into the corruption of the Clinton machine. We have one of your stores in Richmond. Every year I buy spices there for gifts, not this year. Nor do I buy pepsi products…sure miss my quaker oats in the morning! Oh and did I tell you that I use to go to Starbucks everyday for 10 years, I don’t do that either. Your store in Richmond is not doing THAT well, to think you have made such a wise business move…hardly. God’s people are not deplorable, and neither am I.
If nothing else has come from this election so far, it has been enlightening to see all the companies that have gone off the far left edge. I have never heard of this copany but target, kellogs, Starbucks and pepsi have helped me have less decisions when shopping. I gladly walked past their products to better ones. Thanks for your post.

Branding and denigrating millions of Americans is cheap, despicable and beneath contempt, and factually wrong. The Democrats and the far alt leftists are making fools of themselves. Bill, your position is tantamount to a baker (in business to sell cakes, like you are in the business to sell spices) announcing, “I made that gay couple a cake, but all those gay people disgust me!” And then, as I see in your statement, bragging that your business has increased because of it. Can you IMAGINE what the backlash from the left would be if a baker so grossly categorized and insulted a focused portion of their customer base? Yet we should applaud YOU for just calling ME a RACIST because I support and voted for Mr. Trump? I told Penzeys to remove me from its mailing list years ago, after one of its catalogs featured a same-sex couple (women) who were raising their children from previous opposite-sex marriages together. I told the rep who answered my call that I don’t believe any company should promote that children don’t need a mother AND a father.
