Obama’s Last Ditch Effort to Grant Mass Amnesty to Illegals COLLAPSES

The good guys win! Obama’s despicable plan to reward illegal trespassers with amnesty FOILED!

The dictatorial amnesty declarations for illegal aliens may now finally be dead, as Judge Andrew Hanen has advised both parties that he is declaring a waiting period to be in effect to allow time for the Trump administration to weigh in and offer their positions in the debate. On Friday the Obama regime halted their efforts and agreed with Judge Andrew Hanen that it was appropriate to suspend further action in the case.

In a joint statement, the Justice Department and lawyers for the State of Texas agreed, “Accordingly, the parties respectfully submit that further proceedings on the merits of this case, including the submission of a schedule for resolving the merits, should be stayed until February 20, 2017.”

Judge Hanen became a household name and a hero to many Americans in February of 2015 when Congress had repeatedly failed to act in standing up to the dictatorial actions of Obama. He came out of nowhere two days before the authoritarian amnesty declaration was to go into effect and stood for the American citizens, blocking the usurpation of federal immigration law.

His injunction was upheld on two separate appeals and in a split 4-4 Supreme Court ruling this summer which reverted back to the original ruling of the lower court. The injunction still remains in effect but with both sides in agreement with the judge that the Trump administration should have the opportunity to be part of the discussion. That effectively ends the case as both sides will be in agreement against the amnesty once Mr. Trump is sworn in.

In deference to the inevitable, both sides acknowledged, “Given the change in Administration, the parties jointly submit that a brief stay of any further litigation in this Court before beginning any further proceedings would serve judicial efficiency and economy so that the parties have a better understanding of how they might choose to move forward.”

It was a close call at times, and with a lesser judge or one of compromised character it could easily have gone the other way. Judge Hanen served his nation well at a most critical time. We owe him that recognition and our sincere appreciation for standing tall when it counted and those around him were cowering.
