NEW STUDY : Obama Used Immigration Restrictions More Than the Past 5 Presidents!

Liberals all across America are just absolutely LOSING IT over President Trump’s temporary immigration ban, or as the left like to call it a “Muslim Ban.”

Amidst all of this chaos, the Congressional Research Service released statistics for what the last five Presidents did in regards to immigration.

And it’s quite telling…

As noted by the Conservative Review, the most important part of what the Congressional Research Service found was:

Over the years, Presidents have relied upon Section 212(f) to suspend or otherwise restrict the entry of individual aliens and classes of aliens, often (although not always) in conjunction with the imposition of financial sanctions upon these aliens. Among those so excluded have been aliens whose actions “threaten the peace, security, or stability of Libya”; officials of the North Korean government; and aliens responsible for “serious human rights violations.”

Neither the text of Section 212(f) nor the case law to date suggests any firm legal limits upon the President’s exercise of his authority to exclude aliens under this provision.

The results from the report show that since President Reagan, Democrat Presidents have limited immigration to specific groups of people far more than Republican Presidents have.

Ronald Reagan – 5 Times

George H.W. Bush – 1 Time

Bill Clinton – 12 Times

George W. Bush – 6 Times

Barack Obama – 19 Times

Barack Obama imposed immigration restrictions 19 times including 4 times on Muslim countries.
The liberal media and Democrats said nothing.

Here are the 19 times Obama imposed immigration restrictions:

Chuck Schumer did not shed one tear after any of Barack Obama’s immigration restrictions.

If broken down mathematically by the average per Presidential term the results show Democrat Presidents limit immigration to specific groups of people 7.75 times per term whereas Republicans only do so 2.16 times per term. If put in terms of a percentage, Democrat Presidents limit immigration to specific groups of people 358% more per Presidential term than do Republican Presidents.

 

Average Per Term:

Ronald Reagan – 5 Times / 2 Terms =2.5 per term

George H.W. Bush – 1 Time / 1 Terms =1 per term

Bill Clinton – 12 Times / 2 Terms =6 per term

George W. Bush – 6 Times / 2 Terms =3 per term

Barack Obama – 19 Times / 2 Terms =9.5 per term
