New DNC Chair Perez Did Not Think Whites Should Have Equal “Voting Rights”
How bad is the new DNC Chair Thomas Perez? Very bad.

Case in point – Perez believed the “Voting Rights Act” should be for minorities only.
That’s right, he did not feel whites deserved equal voting rights protection.

An investigation into the Civil Rights Division by the Department of Justice’s inspector general revealed extreme views held by Perez. He told investigators that white people were not entitled to protection under the Voting Rights Act.
Perez revealed to investigators that he saw the Voting Rights Act as only providing protection to specific, historic minorities, not all citizens:
CRT AAG Perez stated that interpreting Section 5’s retrogressive-effects standard to not cover White citizens was consistent with the Division’s longstanding practice, as well as case law interpreting the provision and the intent behind its enactment… Perez noted that the Division has always understood the term ‘minority’ to mean not numerical minority but rather ‘an identifiable and specially disadvantaged group.
Perez defended unequal protection to investigators as a practical matter:
According to Perez, applying Section 5’s retrogressive-effect protections to White citizens would create ‘dramatic complications’ … noting that ‘many voting changes … will almost always have some racial effect in some direction,’ and if the retrogressive-effect standard protects everyone, then virtually no proposed voting changes would ever be approved.
So there you have it. The new DNC Chair is possibly even worse than the outgoing disgraced cheating DNC Chair Donna Brazile.

how is such a group identifiabiy determined? by a melanin count? if so, where are the counts? there are none. and what would the threshold count be?
how is such a group’s “substantial disadvantage” properly determined? by the presumption that, since you are black or hispanic, you do not have a disqualifying physician, ambassador, ivy professor white, or black, parent or ancestor? the presumption that being black makes your lineage one of slavehood, but not one of slave traders or tribal slave sellers in africa? the ignorant presumption that all black slaves in america were owned by white slave owners, and not by black, or that no white slaves existed in the united states, some of whom were owned by blacks? by the presumption that no black slaves were, eo ipso, economically advantaged over the white “free men” at the time? the presumption that slave ownership is unique to american culture, but not to south american or middle eastern, or others, who would deride his heightened sense of false moral “outrage”, he being a perfect example of a truly privileged hispanic in high position, despite his being presumably disadvantaged. how so? by his harvard pedigree and ambassador and physician parents.
