Memo to GOP Politicians : If You Don’t Endorse Trump, You are Guaranteed to Lose

Anti-Trump “journalist” Pascal-Emannuel Gobry wrote an article in “The Week” encouraging Republican politicians to NOT endorse Trump, arguing “there is nothing to gain.”

Sadly for oblivious Pascal, this is an asinine argument.

First of all, politics is a team sport. The American people have spoken and Trump is the new leader of the GOP, having won in a historic landslide with the most votes in history.

Can you try out for the Cleveland Cavaliers without being a fan of Lebron James? No. Likewise, you can not be a credible GOP candidate against Trump.

Second of all, Trump’s top advocates on social media are well connected, high-info and will immediately expose any traitors to the new Trump-led GOP platform.

Pascal’s advice to “lay low” will fail in epic fashion. The first question you will be asked in every interview will center around your support for Trump. Do you think you can dodge something that can be answered with a simple “yes” or “no?”

Pascal also argues stupidly “you will not get anything out of” supporting Trump.

Really? Look at the social media accounts for Chris Vance, a Republican running for Senate in Washington who refuses to support Trump. 99% of the comments mentioning him on both Twitter and Facebook are negative because of his anti-Trump stance and his run is essentially already over. With the narrative already set that he is a traitor not worth supporting, he will surely lose in a humiliating landslide.

Now look at the social media account for Paul Nehlan who is running against Paul Ryan and is a Trump supporter. You will find his tweets and Facebook posts are spread far and wide, being shared hundreds of times and reaching a wide audience. Paul Nehlan may or may not end up unseating Ryan, but being a Trump supporter has already paid off for him and will continue to.

If you are a candidate for Senate or the House, no matter what you may want to believe, the American GOP voters care most about the top of the ticket and the vast majority will be passionately voting for Trump against Hillary. Your race is secondary to the main event.

If you listen to the advice of Pascal, expect to be exposed by Trump supporters as a traitor not worth supporting and to be taking fire from the left and the right throughout your run, finding nowhere to hide. Expect also that Trump supporters will spread the word in their tight knit community to not donate a single cent to you.

If you reject Pascal’s “advice” and join the Trump Train, expect to be lifted by a rising tide to take America back, whose time has come and that can not be denied.
