PROOF OBAMACARE IS A DISASTER GOES VIRAL – Man Shows TRIPLED Premium
Going Viral!
October 19, 2016
A viral post has shown exactly how big of a DISASTER Obamacare has been for regular Americans.
Jay Wells used to pay $711.83, starting in January 2017, his monthly premium will be $1,872.
Thanks Obama.

OMG!! THIS IS REALLY BAD..HOW CAN ANYONE AFFORD THIS?..THEY DID SAY THIS YEAR WAS GOING TO BE THE WORSE YEAR FOR OBAMA CARE, AND HOW WONDERFUL OBAMA LEAVES OFFICE, AND DOESN’T HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE BACKLASH, AND THE DEVISTATION THAT HE HAS FORCED ON THE AMEERICAN PEOPLE
Yeah, and think about the fact that deductibles on top of these premiums is HUGE…most of them are around $6000.00, which means you have to pay that amount in bills BEFORE ONE DIME IS PICKED UP BY THE PATHETIC INSURANCE. OBAMA SCREWED EVERYONE WITH THIS OBAMACARE, BUT THAT’S BECAUSE HE WAS LYING ABOUT IT EVER BEING AN INSURANCE PLAN FOR HEALTHCARE NEEDS; NO THIS WAS A WAY TO FORCE AMERICANS TO PURCHASE SOMETHING THEY DO NOT WANT; IT SET A PRECEDENT THAT STRIPPED US OF CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS….SOME CALL IT THE DEATH OF THE US CONSTITUTION
This Obamacare was meant to fail to get the government take over heath care completely. The fleecing of America.
If you read the letter it says Blue Cross Blue Shield isn’t offering Health Insurance in his area anymore. Blame them for dropping him. He doesn’t have to choose the non-marketplace plan they want to give him, he just has to go to the healthcare. gov website and choose another one. Do Republicans read? LOL JK – but really.
People are too lazy to read, they only want sound bites or headers to give them the story.
That is a Bronze plan. Realistically how much better do you think he is going to find ?
WRONG.
This actually proves Obamacare is saving this person $1,000 a month, unlesss you can’t read.
For people who don’t read it, they see that the Blue Cross coverage goes from $711 to $1872.
For the educated, it says that Blue Cross is no longer participating in Obamacare in that state (“isn’t a marketplace plan”), so people would have to pick another insurance company, which, THANKS TO OBAMACARE, will charge somewhere in the $700 range instead of the $1800 range.
In other words, it proves that Obamacare is saving this person $1,000 a month for a family plan.
Republicans evidently couldn’t figure this out.
It’s also a hoaxs, unless Blue Cross now writes sentences that say, “we won’t offer in your area the health insurance coverage that you currently have”, because I’m sure they send thousands of letters with a embarrassingly awkward sentence.
You would be incorrect in saying this is a hoax. I personally know Mr. Wells and he is a great small business owner in our small town. He posted this several weeks ago to his friends, giving them a heads up of what was headed their way. Mr. Wells is a great asset to our community along with his family.
As far as what Obamacare is saving him, maybe this year it saved him that, but if not for Obamacare the price would have never been that high to begin with. I have seen my state benefit healthcare premiums triple in the last 8 years and the deductibles and out of pocket skyrocket along with those increases. Benefits have been dropped from our plans and new restrictions added. Yes it is nice that my children can stay on my healthcare till 26 but at what cost..
Then maybe your senator should have voted for the ACA, because states that did don’t have the high prices. We pay $39.13 a week for health insurance (the same cost as last year) with BCBS/Anthem and have a $700 deductible. I’ve watched our health insurance creep up in price over several years with an increase in co-pays, it’s nothing new.
Instead of forcing everyone to buy health insurance, they should have just regulated the insurance industry, along with Big Pharma. My insurer is paying over $1800 for a 90 day supply of a common medication ($5.02 for each pill) and has for 6 years now. That’s like $45 million a day they’re making on this drug for just one pill since there’s >9 million people who take it in the U.S. I know many people who take the same drug.
It’s the ‘for profit’ health insurance industry that’s taking everyone’s money. The ACA needs to be worked on, but it’s a good thing, making sure everyone is covered. I don’t know how in the world anyone could say it’s a bad thing if you know the facts. If you cannot afford it, it’s because you’re living beyond your means. If you don’t have insurance and become ill or injured and cannot afford treatment, GUESS who is taking up the slack? ME and others who are responsible and pay for our own.
Awkward sentence, like an awkward word ? “hoaxs” This is exactly the letter that is going out. The letter states, ” this is not a marketplace plan”, means he doesn’t qualify for subsidiary and purchased the coverage direct with BlueCross. It also means, they are not writing the same plan he has anymore because it is losing millions. He either takes the new plan or goes shopping for a new plan. For you educated Republicans, the idiot above has no idea what he’s talking about.
hahaha, Patrick OMalley is a Obama crony and must be a hardcore democrat cause he surely has not done his homework… hahahaha
The letter is from Blue Cross / Blue Shield (BCBS).
The insurer is upping the price, not Obamacare.
The person can stay with BCBS at the higher premium.
The person can alternatively go to Healthcare.gov to pick a new plan, and/or new insurance company at a different rate.
If the person does nothing, they automatically re-enroll with BCBC at the higher premium.
The fact that people think there isn’t an option at the same price range is why Republicans are fucking retards. I’m ashamed to call myself one. If you look it up you will find it, but nope, easier to just bitch. Second, why aren’t you mad at Bluecross for dropping you? They are the reason you are losing your plan, asshats. Third, grow a sack and do some research instead of blindly taking people’s “opinions” as fact.
Regardless of your stance on the current President.
“Like”.
Actually, the discussions above prove only one thing, “we have to enact Obamacare to see what’s in it”. Well, it was enacted and we STILL don’t know what’s in it! Obama compared it to a “starter home”. What a way to govern…putting experiments into law!
Funny it is a Republican designed plan.
