LOL : Liberals Nominate Disgraced Sally Yates for an “Award” After She’s Fired By Trump
Is this what leftists have come to?
They can not stop Trump. They can not stop the Trump movement. Their party is getting more and more fringe daily and they will get WEAKER after 2018 elections.
BUT….they can give each other meaningless “awards” to make themselves feel better.

Sally Yates, the former acting U.S. attorney general fired this week after refusing to defend President Trump’s temporary ban, has been nominated for the JFK Profile award, the Huffington Post reports.
The JFK award “recognizes a public official (or officials) at the federal, state or local level whose actions demonstrate the qualities of politically courageous leadership in the spirit of Profiles in Courage, President Kennedy’s 1957 Pulitzer prize-winning book, which recounts the stories of eight U.S. Senators who risked their careers by embracing unpopular positions for the greater good.”
Rep. Jackie Speier, D-Calif., nominated her for the accolade.
Yates drew the administration’s ire when she said the Justice Department would not defend in court Trump’s controversial executive order. She was fired the same day.
Trump’s order, dubbed “Protecting the nation from foreign terrorist entry into the United States,” bans citizens from Syria, Somalia, Iran, Libya, Sudan, Yemen and Iraq from entering the country for at least 90 days. It also suspends the refugee program for four months, bans Syrian refugees, calls for new immigration screening procedures and directs the secretary of Homeland Security to conduct a 30-day review to determine which countries fail to provide “adequate information” for its citizens to be issued visas to enter the United States.
Yates at the time said she did not believe “that the defense of the executive order is consistent with these responsibilities nor am I convinced that the executive order is lawful.”

Sally Yates gets an award to put on her shelf at home, but is sending out resumes on the unemployment line tonight and no government agency will hire her now.

Yates is desperately needed to help Eric Holder in the soon to be sanctuary state of California in the fight against federal enforcement of immigration and labor laws. Her next award could be the open borders Jorge Ramos Trophy.
Awards have become pretty useless in this age of everyone gets a trophy. Once upon a time there was a President who got a peace prize and left the office with the world in disarray and hardly peaceful.
