Little Girl Uses Birthday Money to Buy Detroit Police Lunch
A little Detroit girl put her birthday money to good community use.
Samya McLaughlin, 9-years-old, bought sandwiches, chips, fruit, and cookies with her birthday money, and brought the bagged lunches to a Detroit police precinct, as a “thank you” gift for Detroit police officers.
“I was thinking that I should feed the police officers because I wanted to show them that I support them and I thank them for all that they do,” McLaughlin said. “I wanted to show them that all lives matter.”
This little girl and her parents are amazing.
