Dunham, 30, worked on Clinton’s campaign for 18 months, urging the nation to cast their ballot for the former secretary of state, 69. Now, she is encouraging disappointed voters to fight for their future.
The actress and writer was one of thousands to watch the votes come in at the Javits Center in NYC on Tuesday. She expected Clinton to make a victory speech, but instead left in tears with her boyfriend, musician Jack Antonoff.

Lena Dunham (and apparently her man-child boyfriend) is a product of her upbringing in a culture where kids are never wrong and they are ‘protected’ from failure and disappointment at all stages in life. Then they enter the adult world and when there is no one there to ensure that they get everything they have ever wanted in life, they cannot cope.
Get over yourself Lena, you are no more entitled to happiness and success than anyone else. Your candidate lost because she was a smug and conceited candidate that thought all she had to do was show up and the presidency would be handed to her.

I concur with the other comments, but I feel compelled to add. Never in any area of life; sports, politics, entertainment, have I (and I am old) ever witnessed the total meltdown of a serious portion of a population over the result of an election.
I realize demographically the nature of most of these sad excuses of adult behavior. I expect a certain amount of boorish, ignorant acting out as in most competitions where someone loses. But this is absolutely incredible! I know it’s fueled by nefarious outside interests, but the sheer collapse of a person’s control of their emotions on such a large scale is something to behold. And it’s all based on lies and misrepresentations!! You would think that Donald Trump was a mass murderer; but I doubt if Charles Manson’s candidacy would elicit this degree of outrage. It’s mass psychosis and it is more than a little frightening.
These people are not stable. They need psychiatric help ASAP. This is America and our president elect is Donald J. Trump. Grow up and be supportive.
