First of all, she accurately describes half of America as irrational masses that this illiteracy produces. I mean, she’s just calling it as she sees it, you do want honesty, right? Unfortunately, the author of the above email is the illiterate one. The noun “people” is always plural. Therefore, it should read, “if a people are” not “if a people is”. That email image clearly shows some random person writing *to* Podesta (at his Georgetown U email, even, showing how clueless said rando is) with unsolicited campaign advice. There is no evidence either Podesta or Clinton ever expressed such a thought.
