According to some of the sleuthing done by “Got News,” we have learned that John Lewis didn’t pay any property taxes on his D.C. townhouse.
Not surprising, considering this is normal behavior from the corrupt career politician swamp creatures in DC that need to be drained.

Public records show he avoided paying property taxes on his DC townhouse at 219 3rd Street SE on Capitol Hill:
That house at 219 3rd Street SE was worth more than $810,000 in 2012 according to Nexis assessment records. It’s a nice fancy townhouse right next to Congress:

Federal Judge said ‘” it is everyone’s duty to have his or personal affairs in order so that you pay least amount of taxes” and this is what trump did. I absolutely agree. My husband and I are paying monthly installments on a couple of years of state taxes we owe. The tax was originally taken out of our income, it just wasn’t enough according to the state of North Carolina. Anyway, my point is, that if the common folk, such my husband and I, are expected to pay taxes or face seizure of any or all our personal property, then every single politician should be expected to do the same.

Real estate developers typ have tax loss (income), until they sell. Until they sell, they pay property taxes etc. Buy a rental property and you too can use depreciation, etc., to mitigate income tax burden. Or start a biz…. Certainly would benefit all to learn our tax codes

Sorry to disappoint but John Lewis did in fact pay all his property taxes on his house in DC. To verify it, all you need to do is go to the DC Office of Tax and Revenue’s website, and look up the address. Then click on “View Payments” below the tax amounts. You will see the most recent payment took place on July 11, 2016. You can also view the payment history for previous years. It’s all there. And his taxes are a very reasonable amount. In fact, cheaper than mine in the suburbs of Maryland.
But… But… But… It’s something bad about someone I’m supposed to hate. So it must be true. Right?!?
