Ivanka Trump Wears $138 Dress She Designed to Introduce Her Father at Historic GOP Convention
Ivanka Trump‘s marketing chops were on display at this week’s Republican National Convention — literally.
On Thursday night, when Ivanka, 34, introduced her father, she sauntered onto the stage wearing a $138 blush-colored sleeveless sheath dress from her own line, according to “Women’s Wear Daily.”
And on the previous night, the style-savvy mother-of-three also culled pieces from her collection: A $158 off-white dress and a $135 pair of black suede pumps.
But it’s not surprising Ivanka wears her own pieces. In an interview with “Teen Vogue,” she said, “In working on my collection, I really designed only things that I personally would love to wear. Quality for me is key, and this stands true in every facet of my business from real estate, hotels, and fashion. I love to travel, so I often draw much of my inspiration from every city that I visit.”

Clothes do not make a person. It is their words because words come from their heart. I watched and listened to her words about her Father and love, pride, humbleness and genuine concern for America came forth from her words and demeanor. She has been raised to care for family and others with dignity and respect. I thank GOD there are people like Ivanka in this country and I thank Mr. Trump for raising a daughter such as this. ✝

Obviously, but she isn’t going to get up on stage and talk about her mother. Trump is running for President, and he did do an amazing job with his children. They are the reason he is doing what he is. He wants his family to live in a country that isn’t hostile, is safe, and can thrive. The only way that will happen is if he helps other Americans to do the same by instituting fairness into our laws, regulations, and ridding us of the horrid political correctness that has gagged so many of us from speaking our minds.
True, clothes do not make a person, but if she had worn something not to the liking of the press she would have been raked over the coals, with her introduction regarding her father totally ignored!

I would take advantage of the tax breaks and cheap labor if I was making clothes or whatever. Trumps do it cause they can and its not against the law. Hence this is why he wants to bring back business to the USA. Trumps are not hiding this.

So true. Years ago, I had a job tutoring high school kids on the SAT. Pretty much only rich kids could afford the classes. All the boys drove Porches and the girls BMWs. I didn’t meet any spoiled ones.
I remember one would almost always get to class late – I took him to the side after a class and told him he really needed to be on time. He explained that he works at one of his dad’s McDonalds and gets to class right as soon as he can after work.
Rich kid, driving Porche, works at McDonalds to learn the value of work (and because he had to pay his own insurance and gas).

Amen ! I wrote a complaint several yrs. ago about their Imodest manner of dress. Every one of the Fox ladies wear skirts up to their rears while crossing their legs ( and every one of them sit with crossed legs w/skirts barely keeping their privacy covered ). Why don’t the men all have to be lookers & wear Speedos. Is it because Fox news is a ” Gentlemans’ Club” ? Their dresses aren’t any shorter than the women on the other networks. The length of the dresses they wear just happens to be the present style. Are they supposed to have their clothes custom made? It is pretty hard to wear a dress without showing some leg. They are beautiful very intelligent women that have very nice legs and leg is all you can see. However, the sheath dress was just that, nothing new and nothing special. There were lines and ridges and seams visible and the dress did not fit Ivanka very well. But I do admire her work ethic.

I loved her speech and the manor in which she delivered it and was respectful of everyone and did not talk over the heads of the audience, and everyone understood her message. None of The Trump Family wore clothes that were out of place for The Republican National Convention. That was not the reason they were there. They were there to enlighten all voters knowledge of Donald Trump and what he plans to do should he be elected President of The United States of America.
I have come to respect Donald Trump and his family’s desire to bring The United States back to where the rest of the world respects us, standing by The Constitution that The United States was founded on, to keep God alive and have freedom of religion, dealing with our immigration policies that have gotten so bad that we can’t take of our own people, taking care of our Military and our Veterans who put their lives on the line to protect The United States of America, for wanting to make the lengthy and non understand of the bills that are passed so the common individual can understand, wanting to clean up The Health Care (Obama Care), as well as our Education System that is struggling so much at this time.
Every member of Donald Trumps Family made it absolutely clear that they were brought in this great country and have truly known what it is give your all to your job and families and understand that things can fail and you fail too until you get up and go for it again.

Yes, she is young and she is beautiful. But I personally, as a 67 year old woman, I get a little tired of people always equating beauty with kindness and honesty and virtue. Studies have shown that when pictures of 2 women are shown to people, the more beautiful one is always judged as being more intelligent and kinder and an overall better person than the one who is not as physically becoming. And other studies have shown that even kindergarten kids gravitate more towards the physically attractive teacher than towards one who is not.
Just an observation………………………………..perhaps evolution dictates this perception, not sure.

I thought she did a wonderful job speaking at the RNC. How proud all Mr Trumps children are of him and what a wonderful way of showing it than by speaking about him the way they did. Mr Trump has done a great job as a parent and that speaks volumes about the kind of person he is. I respect that more than anything.
