INSPIRING VIDEO : Police Pay For Motel For Homeless BLACK Teen & Change His Life

Nowadays in Obama’s America, you’re told that the police are the enemy.

That’s a lie.

Our police force is the best in the world, consisting of hardworking and dedicated men and women who serve and sacrifice for their community.

And, they go above and beyond the call of duty.

Case in point.

Two Gordon State College campus police officers responding to a trespassing complaint found a 19-year-old sleeping in a tent behind the bushes.

His name is Fred Barely.

The officers listened to Fred’s story.

He was homeless.

He left behind a troubled past and was trying to get an education to better himself.

He’s a biology major.

The tent was all he had.

He was hungry.

He wanted a job.

The two officers, Dicky Carreker and Maria Gebelein, told Fred that he couldn’t stay in the tent.

However, they were so moved by his story and his demeanor that they took him to a local motel and paid for two nights.

“After meeting Fred, I could tell he was a good kid,” Carreker said. “He was a young kid who had been dealt a bad hand and was trying to make the best out of it. All he wanted was a job.”

Fred appreciated the gesture and spoke out on the police kindness and the current racial discord that’s going on in America.

“The stuff that’s happening with police officers, I am black and he didn’t care what color I was. He just helped me, and that meant a lot,” Fred said.

The officers then posted the story on Facebook which led to more help for Fred.

He now has a job as a dishwasher, and strangers all over the community, and country are donating clothes, food, and money to Fred.

His life is forever changed for the better because of the kindness and compassion of those two police officers.

“I was not expecting any of this support and am in awe of how this community has come together to help me,” Fred told the Herald-Gazette. “I was just trying to go to school, find a job and make it on my own. Now it seems as though I am part of a new community and have a new family.”

Fred posted a heartfelt “thank you” video.
