Hillary Clinton constantly touts that she is responsible for giving 7,000 children health insurance thru Chip; the actual truth is that she was dead-set against it, wouldn’t even give it the time of day; Dick Morris, the Clinton advisor at the time, had to meet privately with Bill Clinton to convince Bill to force Hillary to get behind the bill, because Morris saw it to be a winner in the eyes of the public. After Hillary fought tooth and nail with Bill, she finally relented.
