HYPOCRITES! Same Democrats Demanding Trump Preemptively Accept Election Results Urged Gore to Challenge Them in 2000
The mainstream media’s latest orchestrated “attack” on Trump is that it is “un-American” and “horrifying” that he may not accept election results. Like a brainless group of minions, they are all repeating the same talking points.
Horrifying! Trump “upends a basic pillar of American democracy” by saying he will wait and see what happens on election day, because of his concern about voter fraud.
But wait! Who was the last candidate who refused to accept the result on election day, as certified by election authorities? Al Gore. Did Gore “upend a basic pillar of American democracy” when he tried to overturn the result of the 2000 election?
I don’t remember the Associated Press saying so at the time. In fact, I would bet that the authors of this piece of AP hysteria were rooting for Gore, at the time. Unbelievable.

This is historically inaccurate. Gore rescinded his concession and then requested recounts in a handful of counties. Bush sued Gore to stop the recounts.
Then Gore conceded and asked the country to support Bush despite the fact that he had won the popular vote.
But sure. Liberal media bias. Nice reporting. Maybe change to “trumpfeed?”

Does she think she wasn’t “Hillary” until she came out of her mother’s birth canal or when growing in her womb (that was a safe place for her to grow as she began her continuum of life, from conception to natural death, as science confirms)? Whether she was murdered in the first trimester or right before birth, she would have lost her own right to life & would not exist to pursue the Presidency!
Only later abortion through the ninth month of pregnancy, was made a bad law, just like slavery was bad law until the Emancipation Proclamation), When the slaves were freed, despite the terrible racism they endured, they had their inalienable “….right to life…..” Clinton wants to take that first inalienable right to life away from millions more human beings (as long as it wasn’t her) by the bloody, painful brutality of abortion!! Millions of vulnerable growing human beings (living in the womb) not only their inalienable right to life, thus their rights to liberty and the pursuit of happiness. These tiny human beings cannot defend themselves or run away but are brutally killed by an abortionist before they see the light of day! Anyone who votes for Hillary is accountable to God by enabling this discrimination & slavery of her horrible position on abortion to continue. Think about it before voting for the “Goddess of Abortion (Murder).” No one who is pro-slavery or pro-abortion should ever be allowed to run for any office!

Tell me honestly, If your wife had an ultra sound at 21 weeks, or even later, and found out that the baby had part of it’s brain missing, or it’s heart vessels all fused together, or had no nose, mouth, or ears and/or any other combination of afflictions that would result in that child’s inability to survive outside the womb, just what would your decision be? How about your wife’s decision? THINK about it!!!

I can tell you, about several friends of mine that were born with abnormalities and can tell you these children are a blessing nonetheless to their parents and family members! The problem is that many children are being murdered in the womb, because they are an inconvenience! Nothing more! What’s really sad, is that when an expectant mother is killed, the murderer is charged with two murders! But when a child is murdered through abortion, it is accepted! What’s wrong with this picture!
I work for a law firm in Ohio who was asked in 2004 to represent John Kerry in case he wanted to contest the election. He didn’t follow through, but I’m sure they had hired or at least contacted law firms in other states for the same thing! The Dems ARE hypocrites.
I thount Gore conceded and then rescinded due to close Fla results. Press declared winner in Fla before polls closed in panhandle- different time zone. Fla had recount due to close results. Then Gore demanded a second recount and this went to the courts. Was not settled until late- like Dec or something.

Litigation in select counties, counties referred to as “the gold coast” with high population of wealthy retirees, started additional recounts due to the “dangling chad” controversy and this litigation ultimately reached the United States Supreme Court. The Court’s 5-4 decision in Bush v. Gore, announced on December 12, 2000, ended the recounts, effectively awarding Florida’s votes to Bush and granting him the victory.

But that is a false equivalency. Gore won the popular vote nationwide and challenged the results in one state where a mere handful of votes separated the two candidates. Recounts are not at all unusual in political process in this country where a candidate has a specific issue with an event which has occurred. Gore did what numerous other politicians, Republican and Democrat have done in the jistory of the two parties. Once the Supreme Court ruled against his argument for yet another recount he conceded and was gracious in doing so. He did not claim the entire election was rigged before any voting had even started and claim he was mistreated throughout the entire process of running for election.
Trump has made unsubstantiated claims of fraud and fixes prior to the polls even opening. As he has done throughout this primary campaign and the general election campaign, he has repeated claimed the system is rigged against him.
The 2000 election was contentious, to say the least… Hanging chads, pimples and dimples being counted or discounted… Allegations continued for years. In Oct 2002 Newsweek reported “At a private fund-raiser in Los Angeles for Democratic Sen. Jean Carnahan of Missouri, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton told the crowd that President Bush merely had been ‘selected’ president, not elected.”. IMHO it wouldn’t have really mattered if Gore had won his own state!!
Your adjective ‘unsubstantiated’ is a lie. I personally have seen videos of DNC workers talk about how they brought people in to vote illegally – but not by bus so it would be so obvious – but one company owned cars and another company paid people to drive those cars to another state to vote. I have also seen videos of DNC workers trying to get people to register to vote – but destroying the registrations if they were going to vote Republican. I have also seen videos of other workers trashing Republican registrations. A lot of these videos were by using hidden cameras – like Billy Bush used a hidden mike and kept the tape for 10 years; but others were on camera, knew they had been caught, and tried to run away or lie. Don’t call that unsubstantiated.

Gore lost and challenged the results and LOST. A challemge is a challenge. Bill Clinton encouraged him not to accept results. The results may be similar after this election. It is anyone’s right to challenge results and they do. This wont be the first time.– 2 sets of standards,

I suppose you never read the story of how thousands of Florida voters were removed from the rolls before the election ever took place. Over 80% of them African-American, and many removed illegally, or for actions that hadn’t even taken place. All of this in a state where the candidates brother was the Governor, whose Secretary of State was also a Bush campaign official, 30,000 votes were never counted at all, and the “winning” candidate had a margin of only 537 votes. Florida law requires an automatic recount when it is that close, but the legal challenges both ways ensured that it never took place.
Every county in Fl did the required and mandated automatic recount. Gore sued to have some counties recount again, thus hanging chads, etc. Get your facts straight
