High School Student SUSPENDED for Holding up a “Trump Sign” During Pep-Rally
A Missouri student was suspended for holding up a “TRUMP” sign at his high school pep-rally.
The school’s superintendent is trying to back-peddle now as if it had “nothing to do with Trump.”

A Missouri high school student was suspended for three days after he held up a Trump sign at a school pep rally and reportedly refused orders to put it away.
Festus Superintendent Link Luttrelltold the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that while there’s no school rules against holding up signs, students generally cannot have items at school events that are “unnecessary and could distract from the current environment.”
He said Friday’s suspension wasn’t due to the content of the Trump sign, but because the unnamed student repeatedly refused orders by school officials to put the sign away.

Wow. What happened to Social Studies in our schools? This student should be commended for being involved in the political process of his country. I’ll bet he refused to put the sign away because he understands the First Amendment to our Constitution which states: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. How did the school department not know about Freedom Of Speech? Scary, scary.
