There’s a lot of excitement swirling around Trump’s potential VP contenders. We wanted to get in on the fun, so we’ve compiled a “TOP 6 LIST” of likely VP candidates.
- New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez – Martinez is New Mexico’s first female governor and the first Hispanic leader of the Republican Governors Association.
- Florida Senator Marco Rubio – Rubio is young, Hispanic, and a great communicator.
- Former Speaker Newt Gingrich – Gingrich has years of experience and was the architect of the 90’s Republican takeover of the House.
- Iowa Senator Joni Ernst – Ernst has proven she is a gifted communicator and has those “midwest values.”
- New Jersey Governor Chris Christie – Christie is sharp and charismatic and would be ferocious in his attacks against the Democrats.
- Dr. Ben Carson – Carson has a soft touch that would nicely counterbalance Trump’s power.

I think you left out the most qualified who I think should be Donald Trump’s VP. That is Senator Jeff Sessions who is a true conservative who represents conservative ideals!
Rudy is also a very good prospect for VP

In my opinion he should pick Marco Rubio. Marco is a good guy, he’s young, he’ll help with younger voters, woman voters and Latino voters.
No to Marco Rubio. Even his own State didn’t vote for him .There are so many talented people.

Dr. Carson is a wonderful man and I love him but Trump needs someone with executive experience and Governor Mike Huckabee has Carson’s spiritual and calm but tough nature yet he also comes with a decade of executive experience, has been fully vetted, has fought the Clintons…more than once and WON, has never said a bad word about Trump and WOMEN LOVE HIM….

Rubio never did the job he was originally hired to do! His own state doesn’t want him by my understanding of the Constitution not qualified! To be a Natural Born Citizen you have to have 2 American parents at the time of birth and be born on Us> soil which includes territories and all military bases!

Not sure anyone on your list is the right choice. Some are too old. Some are not well liked (Chris Christy). Ben Carson is another outsider and the VP should be a politician. And picking a woman would look too much like they’re just looking for women or Hispanic votes and not a strong positions candidate. All these people will have a place in the Trump administration, but don’t think any are VP material. If I did have to pick from this list, I’d pick Newt!
Newt or Christie…pls don’t pick Rubio…As much as I love Carson because he too is an outsider I don’t think it is wise to run both Trump and Carson on the same ticket. There are position a in the WH for Carson and rubio just not as VP
Cruz to the supreme court. He is not pragmatic and would not govern well. On the court he can be as staunch as he wants.

GOVERNOR MIKE HUCKABEE would be the VERY BEST by far. He has been fighting the Clintons for the past 25 years, imprisoned 17 Clinton appointees in Arkansas, is an excellent communicator, knows the ropes in politics, and would draw in the Cruz conservative vote.
HUCKABEE, proven governing experience, most likable, common sense and would bring people together quickly.

Governor Huckabee. He has defeated the Clinton machine every time he has gone up against it. Has great executive experience to help Trump deal with navigating government. Huckabee is a great communicator and will be able to articulate what Trump is trying to accomplish.

Newt G would be awesome, he has stood by Trump all the way! He knows the rules better than anyone an will lead us just like Trump! Newt has strong leadership, an has the backbone to say an get things done! This is what America needs now more than ever!
I like Sen. Session or Newt Gingrich. No to Rubio and Cruz, both ineligibles.
I would pick Jon Huntsman who has tremendous crossover appeal. He is very knowledgeable, they have the same foreign policy views, he is a philanthropist and he is a dedicated family man. He is not a mean spirited jerk either. He was the governor of the very conservative Utah – most conservative state and had very high reelection numbers.
Martinez would be good because of her successes and because she’s a hispanic woman. I don’t believe in voting according to gender or ethnicity but our country is at stake. We need to make sure Clinton never sees the White House again.
Rubio deceived Chris Crane, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Since then, I have no use for him. Read the Breitbart interview with Crane.
Newt has the experience and tact to deal with world leaders and would balance out Donald. He has the inside knowledge of the workings that will be necessary to make sure Hilary is defeated.
I don’t know anything about Ernst.
Christy would be better utilized as Attorney General.
I love Ben Carson but I’d rather see him as Surgeon General.

I love Dr. Carson’s even tempered spiritual nature but, let’s face it, we need someone with executive experience since Trump has none. I believe Governor Mike Huckabee has everything that is perfect for Trump. He has the temperament of Dr. Carson, the executive experience that could only come with over a decade as governor (voted one of the 5 best in the USA), he has inside media experience/savvy, has been fully vetted, knows what it takes to run and win against the Clintons because he is the ONLY one who has done that…more than once…Huck has never said a bad word about Trump, always praised him in fact. There is no one in politics today who represents politicians in the respectable way that Governor Huckabee does AND women LOVE him…
I hope Trump will choose a high profile vp, someone people already feel like they know because there will be many supporters of that person who will be swayed to work hard for the ticket. Someone with a strong base of support, loyal people who will be willing to make phone calls, put up yard signs, donate to the ticket…
Definitely, Mike Huckabee. Not only is he strong where Trump is strong, but he is strong where Trump is weak. What a great team they would make!

Colonel Allen West. Trump needs more blacks votes and he needs to win Florida. His powerful style commands respect. Ben Carson’s does not.
Susana Martinez hates Trump, as does Cruz and Rubio. Former Speaker Newt Gingrich is a wise person to have in his cabinet, but the VP needs to attract votes. Besides, I can imagine the Zionist/Globalists killing Trump after he wins and ecstatic to have Gingrich as the President.
I don’t know about Newt as VP. Although he would do a terrific job, the Public wouldn’t respond well. I see him as an Advisor to Trump. Mia Love, Utah, would be a good VP. Whomever he chooses has to draw in the people, make them see the two as a great pair to make our Country great again. God knows we need it.
Since this is an unusual election cycle with such an unusual nominee, the pick should not be based on ordinary reasoning with the usual rules. Nixon once said of Spiro Agnew, he is assassination insurance. Perhaps this factor should be considered with more weight when picking Trump’s VP. That would be someone as determined as Trump to reform the establishment. Names?
