GOP Elites Choose The Trump Train Over Losing All Credibility

Toot, toot.

The Trump Train is filling up a lot quicker than many speculated, partially because of the sudden collapse of the Never Trump “movement,” and the embarrassing “3rd party” scheme by desperadoes like Bill Kristol and 2x loser Mitt Romney.  The other reason is a simple old adage, “If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em.”

And they’re joining in droves.

There’s a bit of excitement in the air as the icy discord within the Republican Party begins to melt away.  Suddenly you have mega-donors like Sheldon Adelson throwing support behind Trump and even the old “Romney Guard” are agreeing to raise money for the powerhouse presumptive nominee.

After a hard-fought primary, complete with name-calling, lies, cheating, and 60 thousand negative ads against him, Trump has emerged from the ashes stronger and more commanding than ever.  “That means something to us,” stated one DC donor, “To see that type of resolve after having the kitchen sink tossed at you shows us that our donations are in capable hands.”

Foster Friess, a Wyoming investor who has given millions to GOP candidates, announced that he will be backing Donald Trump. “Trump’s our nominee. We’ve got to support him,” Friess, said.  “He’s better than Hillary, and I’m encouraging everyone to support him.”

However, it’s not just donors and GOP elites who are warming to the Real Estate Mogul.  One of Trump’s greatest nemesis’s, Mark Levin recently put out a statement that could be construed as “encouraging.”

“Now that he’s the nominee, there’s a gradual recognition and understanding that we’re going to be helpful to him,” said Tom Tellefsen, a major fundraiser for Mitt Romney’s campaign.

So what does all of this mean? Is Trump suddenly a dreaded “insider?”

Come on, seriously?

It means that in order to win the big game you need all your players on the field.
