George W. Bush Back-Pedals and Wishes Trump “All the Best”
Last week, George W. Bush slammed President Trump on various issues including immigration and crazy Russian conspiracy theories in an interview with NBC’s “Today” show.
Now in an interview with NBC’s Sunday morning “TODAY,” Bush is changing his tune drastically and is singing praises for President Trump and wishing him all the best.
From Time
Bush’s words of wisdom were two-fold —he wants to see Trump succeed in office and wished the new Commander-in-Chief well, the 43rd president said in an interview Sunday with TODAY.
“I’d say the same advice I gave before: It’s a really hard job and I wish you all the best,” he told Sunday TODAY host Willie Geist.
And aside from his general advice, Bush also suggested that Trump surround himself with “good people.”
“Empower them and make sure they’re able to give you unfettered advice,” he said. Bush named Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and national security adviser H.R. McMaster as notable examples in Trump’s cabinet.

Wishing him “all the best” is not exactly praising him.
These so-called Republicans are not truly supportive of our great President. They need to brush aside all of Trump’s lies, Trump’s people’s half-truths, the unsupported statements about wiretapping, inauguration crowd sizes, birther conspiracies, murder rates and falling unemployment rates, and just support him ….NO MATTER WHAT! He is our President. He can do whatever the hell he wants and we all need to support him!
A little late for the train. Me thinks he got “left” on the “platform”.
