GAVIN LONG BATON ROUGE KILLER KILLS COPS ON HIS BIRTHDAY

CBS News and NBC News are reporting that Gavin Long, 29, of Kansas City, Missouri is the man who killed three officers and wounded three others in Baton Rouge, Louisiana today.

His motive is still not being reported.

Today was Gavin Long’s Birthday.

Here’s what else we know:

He was a Dean’s List Student at the University of Alabama.

Public records show he has lived in Kansas City and Grandview, Missouri, and Tuscaloosa, Alabama, where the university is located.  No known ties to Louisiana have been uncovered.

He wore black and had his face covered. He was wearing body armor.

He began firing “indiscriminately” Sunday morning near Hammond Aire Plaza, WBRZ reports.
