Envious Mitt Romney Whines about Trump Supporters Countering his Attacks

Mitt Romney should have listened to his friends.

“Don’t speak out, stay out of the fray” they warned him.

In 2012 when Trump endorsed him, Romney spoke glowingly of Trump, raving about how he was only a fraction of the businessman Trump is.

Then in 2016 everything changed. Trump had upstaged Romney by creating a massive movement and Romney did not like it. Whereas Romney drew relatively small crowds, Trump’s events have been like rock concerts – the hottest ticket in town. Whereas Romney was dry and wooden, Trump has been charismatic and inspiring. Trump has brought together and mobilized the blue collar working class like no other GOP candidate in history – the same demographic that felt completely apathetic about whether or not to vote for Mitt.

Trump has succeeded everywhere Mitt failed.

Instead of applauding Trump’s success, history will remember that Romney acted stupidly when he became overcome with jealousy. Instead of returning the favor of Trump’s endorsement in 2012, Romney became part of the fringe “NeverTrump” group of obsolete DC hacks. He then gave a widely panned speech using memorized leftist talking points attacking Trump no differently than if he was a radical progressive like Ariana Huffington.

Loser Romney was gone and Clown Romney was born.

The voters did not waste any time and the backlash was swift in countering Romney’s buffoonery.

Donald Trump labeled Romney accurately as a “lightweight” and “failed candidate” while Newt Gingrich called Mitt “pathetic.”

Memes ridiculing Romney went viral everywhere on social media.

Romney became (and still is) a complete laughing stock – a loser who once had promise that choked, and then came back to try to spoil the party for everyone else the next election cycle.

” (My friends) were right,” complained Romney to the Wall Street Journal “the incoming attacks have been constant and brutal.”

Hopefully “Mitt” will learn his lesson. When you are a failed horse in a horserace – don’t come back and attack the next horse the American people are putting their money on.

After getting thoroughly humiliated by an un-liked and easily beatable Obama in 2012, Mitt released a film called “Mitt” that showed his “softer side.”

Many felt sorry for him even though he had choked, run a horrible campaign, and blown an easily winnable election.

Too bad for “Mitt” that because of his reprehensible, petty actions, those that felt sorry for him after watching “Mitt” no longer feel sorry for him now.

The lovable loser is gone, and has been replaced by the butt of a joke.
