DOUBLE STANDARD : Amazon Bans Products that Offend Muslims While Selling Blasphemous Jesus “Game”

This make total sense when you realize Jeff Bezos owns BOTH Amazon and the ultra leftist publication the Washington Post. These progressives will always bend their backs to pander to Islam or any muslims feeling sensitive, but don’t mind bashing Christianity.

ConservativeTribune Reports

Liberals are some of the biggest hypocrites on the planet, and they reveal their hypocrisy to anyone who is actually paying attention every day.

The latest example of the left’s hypocrisy when it involves religion involved Amazon.com taking down a doormat that many Muslims claimed was “offensive,” RT reported.

The doormat, which was titled “Allah Islam Symbols Doormat and Dog Mat” reportedly offended a great many Muslims because it had the word “God” written out in Arabic where you would wipe your feet.

After a lot of outcry, Amazon took down the offensive item. However, they have not taken down many Christian items that could be considered just as offensive, such as doormats with crosses on them, and this magnetic Jesus with changeable clothing.

“You can dress J.C. in anything from traditional garb (white robe, cross) to surfer dude (tie-dyed shirt and surfer shorts). There are also loads of props such as loaves, fishes, chalices, hats, and tools from his carpenter years,” read the description of the product.

Now, to a devout Christian, this item would be unbelievably offensive (not to mention just really cheap and cheesy), but you don’t see Amazon rushing to take it down.

This isn’t the first time Amazon has removed a religious doormat after an outcry. The Huffington Post reported that back in June, Amazon removed doormats that depicted Hindu deities after receiving complaints.

Amazon also drew the ire of many Republicans last summer when it took down all Confederate flag merchandise, Time reported.

Once again Islam is being treated with kid gloves, while Christianity is treated with indifference. If you’re going to remove a religious item that is offensive to members of that religion, remove all items that offend members of all religions.

You can’t just selectively remove things that offend members one religion and not remove items that offend members of another religion without exposing yourself as a massive hypocrite.

Or, alternatively, people could just learn to accept that there are offensive things in this world and carry on with their lives. If you don’t like it — don’t buy it!

Share this on Facebook and Twitter and let us know what your thoughts are on Amazon’s selection of questionable “religious” items.
