Don’t Believe the Dishonest Media and Polling Hype, Trump has GOT THIS!
There’s a lot of fear out there as we draw closer to the finish line.
Candidates, media, and pundits are talking about rigged elections and pointing to polls that over sample democrats to the point of absurdity, showing Hillary ahead.
They all say “Trump can’t win!”
Here’s the thing that you need to remember.
We’re in a unique situation in this country where 76% of Americans WANT CHANGE.
Our patriotism is low, our economy is on life support, the world thinks we’re a joke, and we’re being run by an out of touch and dangerous liberal machine that is about to launch us over the cliff.
This exact scenario has happened before.
It was 1980.

A populist candidate by the name of Ronald Reagan, who was hated by the GOP establishment, was speaking to THE PEOPLE and promising to save the country and fix the economy.
The media and the polls said he was DOOMED.
The American people, however, said otherwise.
I am not suggesting that there will be an electoral map blowout like what happened in 1980.
However, what I am saying is that like in 1980, the American people overwhelmingly want change.
There will always be a large base of people supporting Hillary.
But there’s an even larger base of people who realize we can’t afford another four years of failed liberal policies and a Supreme Court run by militant left-wingers.
Keep your head in the game and stop listening to the North Korea-style government-run media.
Never before in the history of our lives have we witnessed a media and polling firms team up to take down a candidate.
You know what that means, right?
We’re winning.
Because – you do not pump a dead man full of bullets.

Amy, everyone should read this article of yours. You are exactly right. People should look up Jimmy Carter’s “malaise” speech to get a feel for what was going on in America before the Reagan revolution. This country is long overdue for major correction. The amount of corruption in media and through them, our pop culture is astounding. Trump supporters need to get a grip and continue to believe in the opportunity Trump represents for major change in the direction our country is headed in!

Your comparison is so facile, it is ridiculous. You cite one poll from the timeframe, which was an outlier even then. I was alive so I know. You also fail to mention the polling trend of the time, which would show Carter was in a steep decline. You fail to put the poll you are citing in context, it does not reflect the outcome of a debate held 3 days before. This is also without mentioning other historical context, like the Iran hostage crisis and a failed rescue attempt, there were also rapidly increasing global interest rate increases, the unique phenomenon of stagflation.
Then there is the reality of how technology/methodology has made polling far more accurate, and the emergence of aggregate polling like 538.
Question for you as an author, what is “low patriotism”? Who determined this is the case and how did they measure it, what was the baseline? Sounds like gibberish, and it is if you can’t defend it. What you have really scribbled, is just a little piece of jingoistic clap trap with no basis in fact, you are ting by omission. You are by no means a journalist, and highly suspect as even a writer. Grow up and quit intentionally misleading people to serve a false narrative. What you are really doing is inciting seditious behaviour through misinformation, and you know it.

Your entire two paragraphs weren’t written intelligently in attempt to gain anyone’s respect, but, just a lot of big words to make yourself feel “smart” and attempt to belittle someone else. You ask for facts, but give no real basis or back up for most the accusations you make. The most neutral poll that RCP considers is showing Trump closed the gap from 7-4 points (Reuters) While IDB, LA Times, and Rass are showing Trump with a lead. IDB has been the most accurate over the last 3 elections. More wiki leaks are still coming, Number 14 today has some doozies and O’keefe is dropping Videos 3 and 4 this week of their inside investigation. Just get out and vote. That’s all that matters.
This is soooo true. The evening of the election we went to have dinner with some friends. We brought our small TV over so that we could watch more than one news station. We finished dinner around 8 pm, planning for a long night of returns. We turned the TVs on and they announced…”We are declaring a Winner!” Ronald Reagan has won by a landslide. Carter did not even win his own state. I remember that the people in California had not even had a chance to vote. We have thought of this often. The people, the silent majority had spoken and America was saved from 12% interest rates, hostages in Iran, a defense that was weak, an economy that was struggling. Sound familiar? Carter had tried to have the American Hostages released from Iran but was impotent. He tried hostage negotiations for over a year. The day Reagan was inaugurated, the Iranians released the hostages. Reagan, like Trump was no-nonsense. It’s time for history to repeat itself. Obama is and has been an impotent President, selling us out, drawing lines in the sand only to be ignored…playing up to our enemies while watching our economy fall apart…sound familiar…only the stakes are higher. The Supreme Court, the first and second amendments are at stake. Tax funded abortions and the list goes on and on. This time it’s crucial and it’s time to get on board!

The only problem is that the debate was held the Thursday before the election and this poll was taken before that debate. Trump’s last debate was Wednesday and we don’t know if he got a bounce.

The polls have serious flaws. One poll is meaningless, but in this cycle. So are 100. Unfortunately, the data utilized, the method collected and other factors can show up to 30+% disparity.
This is a very close race. But if you’re truly not deluded, then read alternative news. The main stream media is no longer reliable.

LA Times/USC Tracking has consistently had Trump tied or mostly in the lead throughout the entire election season.

There are about 5 reliable polls showing Trump winning and within the margin. IDB, LA Times, Rasmussen have him winning and he closed the gap within with margin in the Reuters poll and a few others. But yeah its totally over.

The only party implicated in rigging polling machines, was the Republicans in Ohio in 2004. The 16 states you speak of are already deep blue, and are the only States with Democratic Govenors. They is not motivation to rig the polls by democrats in these States. In battle ground states, only one has Dem governor and government. And Clinton leads that state in aggregate polling by 9. It makes no sense to me why people would want to vote for the Republicans after all the wars Afghanistan and the Oil war in Iraq. (Unless you are a true Republican) St. Reagan did more harm than good. The best Republican in my view was Eisenhower, he did want more wars and he warned us of the military industrial complex being leaving office. Hi Guys. I am from Singapore and have been following your American Presidential race. All i have to say is do you want change or do you want status quo. Who do you think can bring up the economy of the country? In Singapore we have a low tax system for both the people and companies. That way we get to attract overseas investors to Singapore thereby create jobs and to improve the economies. The other things we take security of our country seriously. If you cannot vet refugees of ISIS infiltrators and you accept them then you are asking for trouble. Here, we love our policemen. They keep Singapore safe and the government has done a great job in keeping Singapore safe. This is just an opinion.

Misguiding information posted here. Do your homework folks. I found the real information based on two sources in 10 minutes. This author knows how to use rhetoric for those who won’t take the time to inquire. She misinterpreted the Gallup graph and she should’ve cited the National review article from 1980. She mixes up registered vs likely. All Gallup polls were based on registered voters until the last poll that said likely and had Regan with the lead 47-44. Gotta use sources. I’m not sure if she’s a real journalist because I didn’t take the time to find who she is (bad on me). But it doesn’t matter. You’ll get more views though because I’m about to use this as an example. This is part of the reason the media has a bad reputation because anybody with wifi and access to the internet sounds believable when it’s something they want to believe in. Pardon the slang here, but I’m a reader in this situation, not the author.
I suggest everyone forget about the polls. Don’t trust them. Polls are so easily rigged to show what ever the poll administer wants us to see. I can vary the demographic to poll which will show that Trump is in the lead or that Clinton is in the lead; conducting the polls on the same day.

Election polls are seriously flawed by samples sizes that are far too small. In a country of 330 million people, most polls are being conducted on samples of around 600-1000 voters. In a close race, the variance in the data is generally larger than the difference between candidates, which renders the poll results meaningless. Gallup is better than most because their samples size is usually 3000 voters.
