DC High School Marching Bands BOYCOTT Trump Inauguration
Local Washington DC high school marching bands are reportedly boycotting the Trump Inaugural Parade.
Teachers of course don’t approve of Trump, so they’re denying their students the honor of marching in the Inaugural parade.

The good news is these schools open up slots for bands from other states.
NBC Washington reported:
At least one D.C. public school marching band has participated in the past five inaugural parades, but none applied for consideration this year.
Ballou High School’s Majestic Marching Knights performed Destiny’s Child’s “Lose My Breath” at George W. Bush’s second inaugural parade in 2005, and stepped along Pennsylvania Avenue as they played James Brown’s “I Got You (I Feel Good)” at Barack Obama’s second inaugural parade eight years later.
But the beloved band decided to take a break in January and not apply to play in the inaugural parade after several other recent performances, the principal said.
Dunbar High School’s band marched in Obama’s first inauguration in 2009 but the school will sit this one out because they are rebuilding the band, the principal said.
Eastern High School also chose not to participate, the principal said, without elaborating.

Fine, their loss. One of the worst educational system in the country, perhaps the worst…high per pupil costs, at or near the bottom on achievement tests. It has been a disgrace for decades, and now administrator spending their time politicizing it. Stupid and irresponsible.
Well I know several other marching bands who would love to march in the inauguration! These poor teachers need to be fired and because the Americans who do support Trump do not want them on a payroll that our taxes are going to! No federal funding to this school nor any other school that is behaving like spoiled brats! People who were against Obama didn’t pull this crap and neither should they! This is ridiculous and I feel like America should vote on Obama getting any money after Jan. 20, 2017! I realize that our founding fathers set it up where Presidents would get paid after their terms till they died but our founding fathers did not know that we were going to elect someone that has went against everything they set forth in the Comstitution! I’m sorry but no President that spends as much money in so many negative ways, like to terriost countries and countries who hate Americans, and so much money on several lavish vacations, money to fly around on tax payers dollars to support a candidate that Americans did not want, money on fully supporting millions of illegal immigrates against the wishes of most Americans, money on killing unborn babies, and bleeding America and its people dry deserves to be paid after his or her term is over! If they cared about America, they would all forfiet their money and go out and get a job like the rest of us! The last three Presidents haven’t done anything to help America and her people! Enough

Shame on the principals. staff, and students. We are no longer the United States! We should be known as the divided states of america!
Stop whining, it’s their right to so. Trump is a racist bigot. Get used to this type of reaction. It is deserved.
