Communist Cali passed “Travel Ban” Prohibiting Travel to “Anti-Gay” States
In an ironic twist of fate, California created their own “travel ban” prohibiting public university students from traveling to “anti-LGBT” states.
The “travel ban” law went into effect January 1st and prohibits state-funded travel to states that are not LGBT-friendly.

California has created a travel ban of its own, which prohibits its own public university students from traveling to “anti-LGBT” states.
The law that went into effect Jan. 1 prohibits state-funded travel to states that are not LGBT-friendly, the Los Angeles Times reported Tuesday.
The law prevents students of the University of California and California State University from traveling to four states outlined by California attorney general Xavier Becerra, including Kansas, Mississippi, North Carolina and Tennessee.
The California State University intends to follow this new state law, a university spokesperson tells The Daily Caller.

The real Question is why the hell is the State of California paying for students to travel to ANY state ? the UC University system is tax payer subsidized by Californians for students to study at a California School so they should be up in arms that any of their money is going to a system that flies its students to other states and for WHAT ? does Lesbian dance study have a lot of field trips ? and if they did why aren’t the students paying for it out of their own pockets ?
Either the State of California has a problem spending money on things they should not or its a ploy to garner publicity for their agenda ie: ” No students can Travel to right wing states that ( fill in grievance here ) don’t have safe spaces for seeing eye dogs ?
I take a different point of view. A friend of mine is a university professor of paleontology and he takes students on field trips several times a year; sort of a boring version of Indiana Jones. So students who might benefit in their education by such trips are punished by a stupid political stance.
Interesting. So they’re complaining about those of us who want to limit the number of people coming IN to our country due to potential ideological differences, and they’re trying to limit the number of people LEAVING their state due to ideological differences. I can’t wait to hear the “Anti-Fascists” explain why this is a good idea.
So UC students are missing out on their tax payer funded trips to other states?
First of all, the CA state legislature is populated by illegal/anchor baby representatives so no law they pass is legitimate. Second, it’s going to be great when this Becerra loon and other CA officials are thrown in prison (and he should be disbarred and deported if he is an anchor baby or here illegally) for their illegal sanctuary city activity and otherwise. Third, who the he!! do they think they are passing wacko commie laws like this and misspending taxpayer money. Who are they to abuse the public treasury for an obvious malicious and self-serving political witch hunt masquerading as social crusading.. and especially without a public referendum, who are they to decide who is or isn’t ‘desirable,’ what special interest should be subsidized, etc. This is grade A wacko commie 1984 Orwellian criminal lunacy.
The Democrat run California state legislature led by Governor Jerry ‘moonbeam’ Brown have been smoking a lot of medical marijuana lately. There is no room any longer for alternative points of view in this sanctuary state of California. It has become a hard left undemocratic anti-business land of poverty and crime.
