CALEXIT: California is Attempting Secession From the U.S. in 2018
California is chocked full of bleeding heart liberals, so it’s no surprise to hear that they are highly “triggered” by President Trump.
Will anything actually come of this? Not likely.

The election of Republican businessman Donald Trump as president of the United States has some Californians dreaming – of their own country.
One in every three California residents supports the most populous U.S. state’s peaceful withdrawal from the union, according to a new Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll, many of them Democrats strongly opposed to Trump’s ascension to the country’s highest office.
The 32 percent support rate is sharply higher than the last time the poll asked Californians about secession, in 2014, when one-in-five or 20 percent favored it around the time Scotland held its independence referendum and voted to remain in the United Kingdom.
California also far surpasses the national average favoring secession, which stood at 22 percent, down from 24 percent in 2014.
The poll surveyed 500 Californians among more than 14,000 adults nationwide from Dec. 6 to Jan. 19 and has a credibility interval, a measure of accuracy, of one percentage point nationally and five percentage points in California.
The idea of secession is largely a settled matter in the United States, though the impulse to break away carries on in some corners of the country, most notably in Texas.
While interest has remained about the same nationwide, it has found more favor in California and the concept has even earned a catchy name – “Calexit.”
“I don’t think it’s likely to happen, but if things get really bad it could be an option,” said Stephen Miller, 70, a retired transportation planner who lives in Sacramento and told pollsters he “tended to support” secession.During the campaign, Trump alienated many in the Democratic-leaning state with his promises to crack down on illegal immigration, threats of creating a Muslim registry, remarks women found offensive and vows to repeal the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.
“There’s such hostility towards Trump that many citizens believe it would be smarter to leave than fight,” said Democratic political consultant Steve Maviglio, who last year ran the campaign against a proposed ballot initiative to break California into six states.

It’s already decided by the courts that no ceding is permitted. That dates back to the 1860s or 1870s.

The area became a part of Mexico in 1821 following its successful war for independence, but was ceded to the United States in 1848 after the Mexican–American War. So, no it hasn’t always been a part of America.
I would love to see the border wall creep up the eastern border and the northern border of California. If we are building the wall, put it in over drive and box out the intolerant haters in that insane state.
California leaving the union? Hmmm. Wonder what California would do if USA then blocked up Colorado river from flowing to SOCAL aqueducts in return for secession? Los Angeles and San Diego would turn into deserts in about a month with no water for millions of people. Hollywood would have to pay high taxes to film movies in/around 49state-USA (unless they are all going to be filmed in California or Canada now) and pay import tax to display them around theaters in the country and sell dvds. 49state-USA could tax the shit out of iPhones, California made wine, and produce growth there – no free trade! Oh, and 49state-USA won’t take California dollars since they won’t be able to use US Dollar bills as their new country currency.
Looks like Cali is about to be one of the biggest safe spaces in the world full of libtards with pacifiers. Trump’s gonna need a wall between us, and those idiots for sure.

Majority of Californians are conservatives except Sacramento Capital, San Francisco, and Hollywood. Liberals with support of Mexicans legals and illegals votes are controlling the government in California. All other counties are conservatives and support Trump and want a wall with Mexico. The governor of California is a traitor to US citizens and most go. Actually we Californians we need to be saved from the governors and his cronies the Mexican La Raza.
