It is stunning that in liberal California not only are criminally trespassing illegal aliens protected, the politicians are literally self-righteous about breaking the law.

Tensions between the Trump administration and California leaders are escalating into an all-out political war, as Gov. Jerry Brown and his allies vow to fight the president tooth-and-nail over everything from sanctuary cities to environmental policies.
President Trump fired the latest shot when he threatened to “defund” unspecified programs over California’s push to become a “sanctuary state.” In an interview with Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly, he criticized California lawmakers for pursuing a statewide law to limit local law enforcement from cooperating with federal immigration authorities.
“I think it’s ridiculous,” Trump said, adding that sanctuary cities “breed crime.” “We will certainly not stand for sanctuary even cities, let alone states.”
Calling California “out of control,” Trump described the threat of pulling funding as a White House “weapon.”

Give the da*n state back to Mexico. See how that works for them
If California were to be separated, Mexico should buy it back since the U.S. purchased Mexico fair and square. California was a dump when Mexico controlled it (surprise, surprise) so California should be dismantled and returned in the condition in which it was purchased. However, California should not be given back or sold. Defund, collapse, and remake it. Arrest and prosecute the criminal cabal government. Legal citizens in California do NOT agree with the criminal Cali government or with the illegal alien invasion.

I lived in CA for 30 years. Retired and moved back to my home state (IL) in 1996. I talked to my best friend there a week ago. She wants out!!! She said her neighborhood, near Huntington Beach, was terrible and she would like to move. She didn’t know where to go.

There was nothing called Mexico in History for you to think they own California to sell or buy. Spain conquered the south America continent and established Mexico after enslaving the Mayans and Azeticans which were far away from California. California was empty except from some missions that Spain established to claim the land, not forgetting the Northern America Native Americans who don’t identify themselves as Mexicans. It was the Dutch, English, Irish, French, Russians … etc who drove away the Spaniards and built California as you see it now. California belong to the United States and Mexico has nothing to do with it, contrary to what the La Raza Mexicans want you to believe.
Cut the Obama sanctuary city federal tax dollar funding to California asap. Then, check back in with Jerry Brown in 2 months. His illegal immigrant haven will be running amuck and probably on fire.
What I don’t understand is the majority of the people on the fringes of the state are conservative and all the wack jobs that are from the big cities are running the whole state in the toilet. How come the right is not being heard from in this state? They are letting everyone in the USA think the whole state

I live in Sacramento California I want to Jerry Brown removed from office and every other politician that agrees with his policies I support president Trump 100% I’m tired of all the illegal aliens in my state Sanctuary city is unacceptable I want my gun rights this is my second amendment has been infringed upon president Trump needs to step in with the federal government and remove all of these people that will not do their jobs from office and charge them with being a threat to National Security
Me too I live in California and you are correct that the majority of Californians are conservatives except maybe Sacramento governance, San Francisco, and LA. The reason the Democrats are in charge is that the Mexicans La Raza legal or illegals can vote and they vote for the democrats. The governor keep catering to them by giving them all kind of benefits that belong to US citizens only. Illegals can vote in California and they voted.
I know exactly how you feel, Washington state is the same way. Big business has Olympia by the balls and runs the state as it’s own personal weapon against the feds. The conservatives outside of Seattle are completely ignored.
California might be in need of an electoral college type system. The counties (58 of them) in Ca would each get a vote instead of the state being run by LA, SF, and Sacramento.
Jerry: You are a stupid guy. You will need money from the federal government. Change your thinking, otherwise you will bring CA in distress in six months.
The Federal government gives California about $250 billion per year, not including retirement benefits(social security/medicare/medicaid). I doubt Jerry Brown and his radical bureaucracy want to lose that money.

Calif. is overloaded with more than their fair share of whacked-out people. Between Hollywood, LA, San Francisco, and other nutty enclaves, they think that they rule the whole country. Hollywood says they are the cultural basis of modern America, and they speak for all human-kind. Jerry Brown says they will fight against anything that our President comes up with, and that they will be a sanctuary state. He talks about seceding from the USA very cavalierly. They don’t need our money, they don’t need our firefighters, they don’t need our search and rescue teams when they have an earthquake….. evidently they are deluded enough to think they can do all that they do strictly on their own. It is not nearly that simple. It might be worth considering taking the wall on our border from TX to the NM/CA border, and then turn north until we get to the CA/OR border, then head west to the Pacific. Perhaps CA would be happier with that!!
The governor of California needs to move to Mexico and take all the Illegals and Mexican La Raza with him. Over there they can vote for him to be the president of Mexico. The governor is a traitor to US citizens as he allows Illegals to vote and give them all benefits. He think that California is his mother’s farm and all that is for the Mexicans legal or illegals keep voting for him and the democrats. We need the Federals and the National Guards to come over and arrest this governor and his La Raza cronies, in charges of corruption and betrayal.

I wonder if President Trump will remove the citizenship from all those born from illegal parents? And those that were born in San Diego county to people with tourist visa. Those who were born to mothers with tourist visa are claiming welfare and free education but they live in Tijuana 🙂 🙂 GET THEM OUT OF HERE!!!
