President Trump’s budget director Mick Mulvaney appeared on CNN’s Jake Tapper Sunday where he suggested that Obama “manipulated” the jobs numbers.
Mulvaney said he’s long thought the previous administration framed data to make the unemployment rate “look smaller than it actually was.”
“What you should really look at is the number of jobs created,” Mulvaney said on “State of the Union.” “We’ve thought for a long time, I did, that the Obama administration was manipulating the numbers, in terms of the number of people in the workforce, to make the unemployment rate — that percentage rate — look smaller than it actually was.”

They count the # of people that actually are collecting unemployment. Once you run out of benefits , they count that as you now have employment.. No matter what,, those % numbers will never be accurate. Another issue is underemployed. How many people ( No fault of their own ) lost jobs at $20.- $30. dollars an hour had to take jobs paying $10- $15 a hour ?? Either way a lot of Americans are worse off because of the last 8 years. We need good paying jobs back in the USA. We need more businesses / companies paying a living wage. And no I am not talking fast food places..
