BREAKING : Trump Outlines Energy Plan to End U.S. Reliance on Saudi Oil
In a March interview with the New York Times, Donald Trump vowed to look at ways to end the United States’ crippling addiction to Saudi Oil. Now, on just the first day of his Presidency, Trump has already followed through and set a energy in plan in motion to accomplish this.
Under Obama, dependence of foreign oil has only gotten worse.
With stunning dependence on Saudi Arabia and Venezuela.
This sad reality is about to change.

Under the energy plan, the White House said it is committed to elimination policies such as the Climate Action Plan and Waters of the US rule.
“Lifting these restrictions will greatly help American workers, increasing wages by more than $30 billion over the next 7 years,” according the White House.
The Trump administration will support a program of tapping the estimated $50 trillion worth of untapped shale oil and gas reserves, especially on federal lands, and use the revenue to support public infrastructure building.
Under its energy plan, the Trump administration says is committed to clean coal technology and reviving the nation’s coal industry.
The White House wants independence from the OPEC cartel and “any nations hostile to our interests.”The administration says it will provide the best medical care and support for service members and their families, and get veterans what they need by transforming the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Saudi oil accounts for about 6% of total US oil usage per day (1,077,000 of 19,400,000 bpd.)
The US only produces 9,400,000 BPD: oil independence requires doubling US production.
Since Bakken Shale oil can’t be produced profitably for less than $100 a barrel, and there are almost no conventional low-cost sources left in the US, this plan seems to call for a doubling in gas prices, or huge subsidies/bailouts for the shale drillers.
So, Ron, Trump seems to be planning to line the pockets of his friends in the oil business, at the expense of oil consumers.
So why are they producing it as we speak? Oil is trading at 50, give or take a dollar. It costs more to start up but will be very profitable in the mid fifty dollar range. I would encourage you to seek your info somewhere else before trying to belittle someone which makes your opinion invalid!
They are producing because once you’ve drilled a well, you have a multi-million dollar sunk cost, and the oil that you pump is your only income. Better to take the money to minimize the loss. There are a lot of technical reasons to keep producing once you’ve drilled a well: holding the land rights, the fact that if you close it in, you can damage the well….I could go on. There are very few Bakken wells that would pay out at $50 oil. The fact that the number of drilling rigs working, and permits being issued for new wells, is dropping speaks to this point. Bakken wells have short lives, and I am of the opinion that the “sweet spots” have been drilled.
And yes, I believe the whole thing is a Ponzi scheme run on borrowed money rather than well profits.
