By “outlandish statistics” do you mean facts that you just dislike (in much the same way that someone can dislike that the world is a sphere, it wouldn’t actually make it untrue). Trump lies about everything- including about things he’s said before. The way he says two completely opposite things and pretends both are true are ridiculous- I don’t know how you could miss it. The email thing is concerning, but still- there have been how many inquiries into it? At some point, you either trust the system (especially when the people who are investigating her are biased and still can’t find a reason to believe she did something wrong that was criminal! I mean- you can’t get better than that). Trump as a presidential candidate is scary. He knows next to nothing for a job where actual knowledge other than made up facts that suit his reality matter. DEBATE??? An obviously rehearsed dialogue between a biased moderator and the most dishonest, corrupt politician in American history cannot be compared in any way to a debate. Before the question was even finished, the criminal was taking a deep breath to deliver her prepared response.
Alternatively, the moderator presented personal attacks disguised as questions to Trump and continuously interrupted Trump to reinforce false allegations and to disrupt honest answers.
Every intelligent person is acutely aware of the corrupt attack on the working middle class and will no longer accept it silently.
The questions that never got asked were about Benghazi, about using bleach bit, she was basically allow to slide over her 33,000 email issue. To Lester more important issues were Trumps taxes and the birthed issue. That’s because they can’t get him on his policies. He hit her good when she said she has ideas on how to fix our problems. He asked her why in 30 years she has not done so? Sure she was poised. She is a good liar and has 30 years of doing debates. Trump has not been in this arena ever. He did extremely well for someone who is just a business man. I think he missed some opportunity to hammer her and I hope he does more in the next debate. I do how believe that he did well enough to convince anyone who listened with an open mind that he does have plans. In the past weeks he has proved to the world that he is willing to open dialogue with other countries. He has done so now with Mexico, Israel, and Egypt. She had the same opportunity, but only met with Egypt. Obviously she did not make an impression on Egypt.

What was interesting, however, is that as soon as the debate was over Trump instantly interviewed with Shawn Hannity, getting a jump on things. During the next 7 days trump will hit the streets and drive media events, clarifying some things, fixing others, and within a week we will remember the many press headlines generated by Trump more than the debate itself. Trump will follow up the debate with things that are on his own terms, winning the debate in the long run even though I’m not so sure at all that he did better than Hillary on debate night.

As an un-affiliated voter, I can tell you hands-down, Clinton won the debate. And any inteligent, educated and reasonable person would reach the same conclusion. He was unfocused, rambling, losing his cool while she was listening patiently as he dug himself another hole to get out of. If you think Trump won, it’s only because you are SO biased and hate Hillary, that you couldn’t impartially listen to what the candidates were saying. And btw, Democrats and Republicans don’t pick the winners in the general election, un-affiliated independent voters do. And 90% of us know that Hillary trounced Trump. It was obvious.
