BREAKING : Trump Delivers Terrible News to Obama’s Welfare Freeloaders
President Trump is eliminating waste in the Lifeline program by going after the so-called Obamaphones.
The Lifeline program was actually initiated by Reagan and advanced by both George 43 and Obama.
The original concept was to give those in poverty a means by which to communicate. In theory, that sounds okay, but like most things run by career politicians, the program has gotten outrageously out of control.
Trump has set new Federal Communications Commission chairman, Ajit Pai, with getting to the bottom of the program and making it more efficient. When people in the system are walking arodn with $600 iPhones, there is a problem.
Why is this program so abused and how did it get so out of control? One word… Obama. His lack of budgeting and control have never been more obvious than they are in this program.

Hey, these phones were supposedly for low income people for emergency situations or to contact doctors or pharmacies. If they’re using Facebook, then they are incurring data charges! The government shouldn’t be paying for that nor should they be allowed to purchase expensive phones at the tax payers expense!

A free phone for anybody, welfare or the abused in shelters doesn’t need internet, social media and apps or a $600 phone. There are cheaper models (flip phone) for basic calls.

it costs very little and serves the purpose for emergency. I do not see why a free phone for emergency would necessitate more. I won’t pay more for my self why should I be forced to pay more for anyone else?

A flip phone/on-off is all one needs if it’s ‘free’. No internet, texting or apps. Simple Hello/Goodbye. Their the cheapest and can have minimal calling hours. That is all one needs when it’s free. For the kids, program in 3 important contact numbers. That’s it.
we survived for decades without phones.. no one is owed one and if they want to offer something it should be minimal and im sure many tech companies would bid on offering the cheap phone and then pushing their services on these phones.

In case terrorist attacked people can call the law, for help and domestic violence, any criminal walking,driving around or ones own medical help or others…We need all free phones, if someone abuse the system to get expensive phones take it away but people with really low income will help alot to the sociaty by having the phones.

The phones they carry are $50 ZTE phones used and refurbished. They are allowed one person per household. They get a set number of minutes and texts but can buy more and buy data if they want. We live in a digital world. If these freeloaders don’t have phones they can’t very well get a job, enroll in school, etc. Jesus said love the poor, help the poor, not judge them and hate them. Don’t need a phone for data or texts. Most local libraries allow you access to a computer. Most if not all career centers allow you the use of a computer. All these phone are doing is enabling them to do less. People that really want to work will do the work to get work. People need to get up off their lazy rear ends and actually go find work!

Expensive phones are not necessary.but the victims of domestic violence who need a cellphone to communicate do need a phone..there are designated donation places to drop off your old cellphones so they can communicate if in hiding or shelters..and our very poor who are sick that cannot get a phone any other way should have access…I don’t believe president trump would just stop a program without something less expensive is put in place.i believe in him 100%.but please,everyone donate your old phones to for women and children who have been victimized!
