BREAKING : Sessions Tells Hugh Hewitt He’s Open to Investigating Obama’s DOJ

In a discussion with Hugh Hewitt, Trump Attorney General Jeff Sessions said he was open to the possibility of investigating Obama’s scandal-ridden DOJ via outside counsel.

Even before Loretta Lynch’s disgraceful tarmac meeting with Bill Clinton and potential wiretapping, Eric Holder was busted for gunrunning in “Fast and Furious.” In addition, we’ll never forget Obama’s IRS targeting conservative groups but doing it so sloppily that they got caught.

In a conversation with radio host Hugh Hewitt on Thursday, Sessions left the door open for a special counsel to take the lead on the investigation into these Obama-era scandals.

“Well I’m going to do everything I possibly can to restore the independence and professionalism of the Department of Justice,” Sessions said. “So we’ll have to consider whether or not some outside counsel is needed. Generally, a good review of that internally is the first step before any such decision is made.”

If the counsel finds wrongdoing, it will have the authority to bring charges, Sessions noted. He insisted it will only come to this if he concludes it will be necessary to restore the “independence and professionalism” of the department.

Let’s hope Jeff Sessions does indeed investigate Obama’s DOJ. If the investigators have any skills whatsoever we bet they will find Obama and Loretta Lynch to be partners in many many illegal crimes.
