BREAKING: PRETEND VP: CRUZ WANTED RUBIO BUT SETTLED FOR CARLY

The Cruz camp is still reeling from the epic final blow delivered by Donald Trump supporters in Indiana.

Just yesterday Ted Cruz lashed out an MSNBC reporter when asked if he’d support Donald Trump. The nasally Senator resorted to name-calling and screeched that he wouldn’t support “Donald Duck,” reaffirming to countless voters that NOT supporting the thin-skinned Canadian was the right move.

The Cruz team is also talking about the devastating “last days” of the campaign. They are claiming that Ted wanted Rubio as his “pretend” VP running mate, not Carly.  But Rubio wanted no part of a “Two Senators From DC” pretend ticket. Furthermore, Rubio did not want to be involved in a desperate last-ditch effort to save a failing campaign.

Smart move.

The ghastly poll numbers for the make believe Cruz/Carly ticket tell the sad story. Political gimmicks and DC trickery don’t appeal to the newer and more savvy American voter.  The Cruz/Carly Ship was sunk before it left the dock.

“The bottom line is that Ted Cruz’s message did not resonate with the American people. That’s all there is to it. That’s why he didn’t win,” one Cruz insider began.  “They can talk about how it could’ve been different if this happened or that happened, but in the end, America just didn’t like Ted.”
