BREAKING : Nestle Brings 750 Jobs to Struggling Arlington, Virginia
Nestle has announced that it will be moving part of its headquarters from California to Virginia.
Adding over 750 jobs in the process!

Nestlé USA, the maker of Häagen-Dazs, Baby Ruth, Lean Cuisine and dozens of other mass brands, is moving its U.S. headquarters to Arlington’s Rosslyn area, bringing roughly 750 jobs to a part of Virginia struggling with widespread office vacancies.
The world’s largest packaged-food company — which bills itself as a nutrition, health and wellness company — will move in at 1812 N. Moore St., the region’s tallest building, which has remained vacant since it was completed in late 2013. Nestlé was lured to the area, executives say, by its proximity to lawmakers, regulators and lobbyists — and more than $16 million in state and county subsidies.
“Frankly, this brings us closer to the heartbeat of our industry,” said Paul Grimwood, chairman and chief executive of Nestlé USA, which is part of the global giant Nestlé SA, based in Vevey, Switzerland. “It allows us to collaborate not just with consumers but also with other important stakeholders in Washington and on Capitol Hill.”

I live on the west coast. But this is such great news for Virginia. I only wish they wouldn’t use lobbyists. These people are criminals who sway our elected officials to do something for them in return for money placed in the officials off shore bank accounts. I would really like to see President Trump outlaw all the lobbyists in the country. How many BILLIONS have they cost you and I over the decades? Probably to much to count. Perhaps if he could place a dog type micro ID chip in their body somewhere and put a bounty on their crooked azzes. That alone would save our country much money we could use to create new jobs for Americans, not the illegal aliens.. I wonder if we could start a legal vigilante group? Go find people who can’t speak English and ship them down to Tierra del Fuego in South America. It’s a nice thought.

I’ll bet they are coming from 801 Brand Blvd, Glendale, CA. It isCust north of the,134 freeway. I have been there many times…. That is their US HQ, I believe.
It only said it was moving half of their headquarters. Glad that it is opening up jobs in a part of country that might need it.

over from italy (legally) and so proud to be americans, they served in the military to protect this country and have paid
many taxes in this state, too see it all go to hell, we give out more than we take in, our prisons are full, we have no family values ,why would they you can live together and get welfare and medical if your not married, our unemployment in terrible, especially for construction workers they have to go on welfare or employment all the while all the illegals are grabbing up all the work, My family that loved this country and are gone now are probaly turning over in their graves.
