BREAKING : Liberal ESPN Loses 422, 000 Viewing Homes in Just One Month
When will these companies learn that it does not pay to “get political?”
We see it time and time again – the outcome for pushing a liberal agenda is failure.
Look at the NFL and CNN’s dismal ratings, Macy’s is on a downward spiral, and Starbucks entire “brand” has been flushed down the toilet, all for espousing a politically correct, liberal agenda.
Still, these companies, like liberal ESPN, forgo business, ratings, and revenue, to keep pushing a progressive ideology that America has soundly rejected.
That’s why ESPN is losing 422,000 viewing homes in just one month.

Monday Breitbart Newsreported that TV viewers are dropping cable subscriptions in droves for cheaper internet platforms like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon, posing an existential threat to ESPN.
Tuesday an online rating service spelled out exactly just how disastrous that fallout is just in the last month. According to SportsTVRatings.com, the world’s premier global cable and satellite sports television channel, ESPN, lost a stunning 422,000 viewing homes between February and March 2017. Fox Sports 1 didn’t fare very well either losing 77,000 homes.
Overall, 390,000 homes canceled their cable TV subscriptions.
Breitbart also reported on Monday that, according to a Sports Illustrated report, ESPN management is cutting “tens of millions” of dollars of staff salaries and that “on-air personalities are on the chopping block.”
A 2016 Breitbart story on ESPN’s new public editor, Jim Brady, indicated dissension even within the ESPN boardroom, and that the sports cable network “has become far too liberal,” which could be having an effect on the downward spiral of sports viewing across the USA.
After watching an ESPN NFL game last season with more cameras focusing on Colin Kaepernick kneeling during the national anthem than on the American flag and those honoring it, they may be on to something.
Many Americans are canceling their cable because they’re fed up with channels like ESPN, who should be reporting SPORTS, not shoving their political beliefs down America’s collective throats.

Its not even that its liberal its just that sports are supposed to be an escape. We dont want politics in our sports, regardless of what it is. Simple patriotism and thats it!

Progressives just can’t help themselves. They push their propaganda everywhere they can. It is even in the NYT’s food section !
I think one of the most under reported stories of the last year is how pervasive the Liberal/Globalist agenda is being pushed – and how it has virtually no ability to influence anymore!
The Left seems to have a tin ear. If I were expending billions on influence campaigns, I would back up on say, whoa, this is having no affect, maybe I should do a post mortem as to why (?)
