The DNC was stuck today deciding between two terrible choices for leadership and went with the “safe” establishment pick. Tom Perez, the former Obama admin Labor Secretary defeated Keith Ellison on the 2nd ballot, by securing 235 votes to Ellison’s 200. Ellison, a muslim who defended the radical nation of Islam is known for his many jaw dropping faux pas, including telling Bill O’Reilly incorrectly that the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.
