BREAKING : It’s Official! Congress Will Investigate Obama’s Wiretap
Congressman Devin Nunes, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, has officially confirmed that they will investigate to see if the government was conducting surveillance activities during the 2016 election.

Congressman Devin Nunes, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, said it “will make inquiries into whether the government was conducting surveillance activities on any political party’s campaign officials or surrogates”.
The committee is already examining possible links between Russia and Mr Trump’s campaign.
Tom Cotton, a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, also said it would investigate Mr Trump’s allegations.
He said: “We’re going to follow the facts wherever they lead us and I’m sure that this matter will be a part of that inquiry.”
I can assure of one thing, and that is that what we will all be reminded of, throughout this procedure, with barry and the wire tapping, is this, barry o is, in fact, way above the law. No amount of laws or the constitution, or truth against him will make him to be held accountable for ALL of the laws he has blatantly violated. The man is clearly guilty and yet he will laugh all the way back to the American freedom and prosperity that he has enjoyed over the past 8 years. This, my friends, will have been only a speed-bump for barry. He is now and will continue to be fully protected by those who really run our country, namely, the establishment media.
I mean, look how they’ve made Sessions kowtow like a little boy to them over him having a conversation with a Russian. He should’ve told them to piss-off, instead, he recused himself from a case. It’s truly sad to watch all of this. It’s sad to know that barry and the establishment media are laughing in the face of good people as “their boy” gets away with crimes, one right after the other.
The shadow government is collapsing, Obama’s operatives are being ousted from every post within our government, the CIA, the NSA and the FBI are in the midst of cleaning up; the threat that they were all under has lifted, President Trump is not a jihaddist, marxist destroying America from within, he’s a patriot saving America. Law & Order have returned, just watch, it won’t happen overnight but the wheels of American justice have turned and continue advancing.
If anybody can expose the deep state/shadow government it’s President Trump. Nobody else has the will or the cojones to expose these treasonous bastards for who they are.

Totally agree on the Session’s recusal of himself. Many people on conservative websites are expressing great disappointment at him for being so quick and so weak. Particularly he did so while President Trump was out of town.
I think people had too much hope for Session. After all, Jeff Session had been a senator (not an executive) for too long and senators are like freelancers or college faculties. Session may lack the kind of executive capacity to run a huge swamp. His prosecutor and DOJ experience were way long time ago and today’s DOJ is totally different animal. In comparison, Rex Tillerson did much better job and he seems is on control of the State Dept.
Trump should name a younger and more energetic prosecutor (Jay Sekulow, for example) to be his deputy. I wonder if Trump can name an independent prosecutor to investigate the whole Obama spying on innocent American people. He can not count on the congress to accomplish anything. You know there is a long list of private American citizens whom the Obama administration spied on. This issue will have the supports of American people.
Try not to lose hope so easily. Jeff Sessions is not a wilting violet. Sessions is in a great position to step back and allow some relief while understanding that there will be no more administration coming to the rescue and providing cover for a super-Constitutional department not toeing the line. There is nothing cowardly in what Sessions did. He is being prudent and taking much of the ammunition off of the table from the media while still managing a department where a strict adherence to law will be demanded and he is not afraid of where this investigation will go when handled in a strictly Constitutional and jurisdictional manner.

Sessions knew if he didn’t recuse himself it would provide blood in the water for Demorats and the YSM to go after every investigation he was involved in. It’s was time take that ammo out of their magazine.

I certainly hope Cong. Nunes means what he says. Sen. Cotton-Candy gave a real, half-assed answer to Chris Wallas today. It almost sounded like he was avoiding the subject like tthe plague! & It made you wonder if perhaps,………the supposedly “good fish” in the “swamp” weren’t so good!
Pres. Trump should go on television and make a statement like the following:
“When I said that I would drain the swamp, even I could never have imagined that the swamp was as infested with the snakes and crocodiles that it has now become clear it does. So, at this time, the following individuals………….(naming them either by proper name or psudnym) are hereby notified, “YOU’RE FIRED!…………..”

If I remember correctly, Cotton was among those key lawmakers and big shots globalists from Silicone Valley who met on an island off coast of Georgia plotting to defeat Trump in the final months of the election. Among all the attendees, Cotton was a surprise, because he is a veteran and his fellow veterans overwhelmingly support Trump. But I am glad that he outed himself as a globalist which may have saved our country pain down the road. His speech at the RNC convention was totally underwhelming at the best, like Paul Rino as the VP candidate. Both men have no charisma, speak in little voice, and have not accomplished anything significant (though Cotton did serve in the military, but so did millions of others.) It’s unbelievable that both men are dreaming becoming next POTUS. They both have interests in Trump’s failure as POTUS. Many in the GOP are seeing themselves as the next candidate and they don’t have interest in Trump’s success. BTW, don’t be fooled by those who try to just maximize their TV exposure by conducting show trials (in the name of congressional hearings) which accomplish nothing. Some congress men from Utah and SC are good at doing show trials.
Trying to paint Tom Cotton as a ‘Never Trumper’ is an exercise in ignoring facts. Cotton has been a fascination of mine for some time now. And, while my appreciation for his conservatism has SEEMED to reinforce his allegiance to Trump, I just googled “Tom Cotton Never Trumper” to see if I was missing something. What returned was pages of articles of Cotton’s support for Trump and juxtaposing his SUPPORT for Trump, even in light of his more traditional values, when juxtaposed to the likes of Ben Sasse. I was fairly confident before I jumped to Cotton’s defense, but, I wanted to make sure I wasn’t overlooking something. I’m pretty confident that you are MISCHARACTERIZING Cotton and I guarantee you, calling Tom Cotton “Cotton Candy” is WAY out of line and not representative of this fine man.

Don’t hold you breath over the congress. The entire congress is in the business of getting re-elected, not fighting crime or defending constitution. Defending the right of private citizens is even further down the list. Additionally, the moment the media talks about the first black president being investigated, their knees will start wobbling and their minds and bodies freeze.
