Critics of the Iran nuke deal are outraged that Obama did not properly vet how Iran would spend the money from post-sanctions boon. It appears now that President Obama thought the domestic political pressure would force the Iranian government to invest more heavily in constructive economic pursuits. Of course, they were wrong.
