BREAKING : Hannity Surges to #1 Rated Show on Fox News, KellyFile Plummets to a Dismal 5th
WOW…this is really bad news for Megyn Kelly and shows where Fox News viewers are in terms of what type of coverage they are looking for.
Donald Trump as GOP nominee has caused a Catch-22 for Fox from the start. On one hand, their viewers are over 90% right leaning, but on the other they are an “establishment” network channel and had no interest in an outsider like Donald Trump taking over the GOP party like he did.
Now, they have hedged, by allowing Sean Hannity to have a fair Trump coverage show and going forward with Kelly-file as a non-stop Trump bash-a-thon with the type of biased programming any Hillary Clinton SuperPac would salivate over.
As a result, Hannity has surged to first place and Megyn Kelly has PLUMMETED to a dismal 5th place.
Once considered “the future of Fox News” by some, “Kellyfile”(2.104) was ranked BELOW

I used to watch Megyn religiously as I do O Rielly and Hannity. These last couple of weeks I have noticed how she was really siding with the democratic strategists and how she would let them get their full sentences in on bashing Trump and constantly interrupting and making the Trump strategists look foolish .
What really was the last straw was when she had the woman on who was allegedly groped by Trump and was siding with her without proof.

Yea, I’m so torn…Megyn was literally my badas$, I wanna be you when I grow up chick! I defended her until about a month or so ago, when (privately) I started getting upset with her unfairly weighted hard ball Trump analyses. In fact, I remember exactly when it was. It was when they were just announcing Chris Wallace as the mod for the last debate, and she said something to the effect that its hard to do folllow ups because they work so hard on formulating their Qs ahead of time, and if you sacrifice time to do a follow up Q, you might miss sn opportunity to get in a real zinger…that made her, in my opinion, cross over from moderator to wanting to be part of the story,,,I am vehemently against mods making themselves the story, or fact checking because of one simple question; where do you get your facts that you’re using to fact-check the candidtes claim?? Its all subjective, and thats not right.
I always gave her the benefit of the doubt, and still kind of do, because she really does rip into the other side too! Case in point, her annihilation of Donna Brasile, awesome!! And furtheremore, she really gives a great show of support on the things she sees as being unfair to Trump. The only exception is the woman thing. I don’t like it, but she always cuts Hillary and Bill down on their treatment of women and their hypocrisy. So I try to see that as a wash.
I don’t want to be so close-minded in my views that I cannot watch someone who I really like 90% of the time, because she doesn’t share my views 100% of the time. I dont think that makes us openminded, and in fact, makes us no better than the Leftist who march in lock-step, and shut out any dissenting opinions…I think thats a slippery slope.
O’Reilly has been trying to counter the narrative that he’s too soft on Trump lately by taking some low digs, and throwing in questions aimed at sensationalizing, no matter if its at Trump’s expense; ie when he randomly brought up the birther question just as Trump was having a bout of good media, and it threw him into a week of birther attacks from HRC and her minions.
I do miss Greta, but I don’t want Megyn to go. Shes a strong, empowering woman in a man’s world, and she really does give hard hitting interviews to both sides.
The Five is another show that I LOVED…watched every day! And now one of the only ones on the show that I like is Boling, which is CRAZY bc I think he’s a total meathead most of the time lol. I loved Dana, and I can’t even hsndle her and her b*tch face she ALWAYS has on when in comes to anything Trump…you can feel the tension and daggers she (as well as Guttfeld, another former favorite) for Bolling when he says anything pro Trump.
Ughhh, I was so afraid of this when Ailes was forced out…I feel like it was a coup!
Anyway, sorry for my rant:) I’m just hoping i will all smooth out, and old FOX will come back. Even my hubby who HATES the news barked at the TV when watching the Five w me, and said, ” we can go to every other news network to get liberal biased news! Why on FOX now too?!”

Rupert Murdoch needs to “wise-up”. Roger Ails was right——founding the News Dept on “We report—-You decide.” It’s not like that anymore——and Conservative viewers are leaving Fox in droves. Many of the Anchors are blatant about expressing their opinion and are obviously “in the tank” for the most Corrupt Candidate who ever ran for office—Clinton. Meghan Kelly is one of these—joining Geraldo, Shepard Smith, Dana Perino, and of course Juan Williams. Even Brett Bair is doubling down on bad press on Trump. The other anchors you named, especially Megyn Kelly, Dana Perino and Shepard Smith, are very obviously Trump bashers, which would be fine, if they were fair and were also Hillary bashers. Better yet, how about “fair and balanced” reporting. I also stopped watching those shows months ago. It is a little different with Juan Williams and Geraldo, who are both there to represent the liberal view, however, if I wanted to hear anything about that I would watch CNN, MSNBC, or any of the local news stations.

First of all, look at Hannity’s competition during his time slot. It’s a joke. Kelly’s numbers may have slipped, but I think she’s actually improved a great deal, and doesn’t just spout the party line anymore. Her contract is up soon, so maybe she’ll go to another network. Personally, I think Fox should keep her, and at least attempt to have a ‘fair and balanced’ voice among the big mouths. Yes, I realize Fox viewers want that far right, angry asshole type of host that interrupts and screams and foams at the mouth. Much as MSNBC’s core wants a sarcastic, Clinton ass kissing, Fox bashing, condescending smartass to represent them. Truth is, they all suck anymore, and despite their ratings, people have little or no trust in any of these media talking heads.

Ever since the beginning of primary’ s and continuing into the general election Megan Kelly has been biased in her presentation of the news using inflammatory comments and innuendo when talking about Trump. She always manages to show some video demeaning Trump while giving a pass to Hillary. She manages to somehow always over talk Trump respondents and give a clear field to Hillary’s. You can see it in her eyes when a Trump surrogate is talking that she is ready to leap on them with some innuendo or a direct attack. She did it to Trump during the primary’s and is still doing it now. Fox News is no place for this type of nonsense. I’ve been asking for months when she will leave. Her type should be on MSNBC or CNN where you no what your going to get “pure unadulterated s**t.

We watch the Kelly File very religiously from its onset; but now watching Lou Dobbs or Netflix until Hannity comes on.

Standing in long line to vote early yesterday in Boca Raton I heard many, many women talking about not watching Megan Kelly and just simply turns the channel on their TV when he show comes on the air.

We miss Greta, too! She represented intelligent professional reporting at its best. Her attire was always professional–nothing to detract from the stories she covered. She treated ALL her guests with respect and had a gift for rewording and respectfully re-asking her questions to keep her guests from dodging issues. She could be firm, but she was never rude nor condescending. She obviously came to each show thoroughly prepared after researching BOTH sides of the topic in an attempt to get to the truth. Greta exuded character and grace. She is sorely missed!
