BREAKING : GOP changes Senate rules, approve Trump cabinet picks without them
Bad news for the crybaby obstructionist Democrats. The Trump agenda is moving forward WITHOUT THEM!

A Democratic boycott couldn’t prevent President Trump’s cabinet picks for Treasury and health from gaining approval by the Senate Finance Committee.
The Republican-led committee changed its rules to allow it to operate without the boycotting Democrats and approve Steve Mnuchin for the Treasury post and Tom Price as Health and Human Services secretary.
The next step will be for the pair to be confirmed by the entire Senate.
The Democrats have painted themselves in a corner with such radical leftist positions they are digging their own political graves!

About time the Republicans are developing “a pair,” and it’s long overdue. Liberalism – aka progressivism – has truly become a mental disorder. I hate this division, but unfortunately, it’s present everywhere. 30 – 40 years ago you could agree to disagree and then still go out and have a beer (or dinner). Not anymore, and I dislike the fact that many of us are to the point that “loathing the left” is too kind a statement. They must be defeated in all fronts, with all policies, etc.
As an aside, I was born in Germany back in the late 1940’s and we eventually emigrated to the US. We became naturalized citizens as soon as we could, learned the language, and embraced the history and traditions of this great nation. This way of thinking among migrants has long changed – and obviously for the worse. So much has changed in so many ways. What was once right is not wrong – too many gray areas now. God Bless President Trump and give him the strength to persevere against the massive left wing onslaughts that are sure to come through his entire term of office.
As Rush said, all the President has is us!!! The left (and some Republicans – the Lindsay Grahams and John McCains of the world) will either overly or secretly fight Trump at every turn. It’s a crying shame.

I knew this was a bad idea when the Obama administration resorted to “the nuclear option” to get bills passed. I said it would set a precedent that the end justifies the means for whatever administration is in power at the time. That rule was set so one party couldn’t vote behind closed doors without at least a couple from the opposing party present. Them not showing up is their choice! They have their panties in a wad and not showing up is childish. Stand up and vote one way or another!!! They get what they deserve!

But this time, they set out to totally destroy our goverment and to undermine our President. This is not something we could allow, and perhaps we needed to let them see what their actions cost. Hopefully, we can get to a point where NO ONE is forced to use this. Eventually, we hope to be able to take it off the table, but right all the President has is the people and part of the Republican party.
