A federal judge in Brooklyn, New York issued an emergency stay on Saturday that temporarily blocks the U.S. government from sending people out of the country after they have landed at a U.S. airport with valid visas.
The order barred U.S. border agents from removing anyone who arrived in the U.S. with a valid visa from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia and Yemen. It also covered anyone with an approved refugee application. The Department of Homeland Security said that more than 170 people were denied entry to the U.S. as of Saturday night, according to Reuters.
The ruling by Judge Ann Donnelly of the U.S. District Courtfor the Eastern District of New York came during a hearing called after President Donald Trump issued an executive order blocking people from seven Muslim-majority from entering the United States and putting a temporary halt to refugee admissions
Twelve refugees were detained at JFK Airport within hours of Trump’s order restricting immigration from seven majority-Muslim nations — but two were released later in the day — as hundreds of protesters continued to amass at the busy airport throughout the day and into the evening.

Still don’t understand how a federal judges can overturn all or part of a President executive Order.

If the executive order is in compliance with the Constitution, either in a clause granting the president specific power, or by a delegation of power by Congress to the president, it can’t be overturned.
They cannot. This is fake news.
The judge is wrong in this case. She does not have jurisdiction nor authority to block a Presidential order that deals with immigration and possible national security issues. Her order will be overturned in the next 48 hours I am sure. Another activist judge overstepping herself. Also, these groups with ties to Muslim brotherhood and Soros need to be reeled in ASAP.
Courts can rule whether an Executive Order is Constitutional or not. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Executive Order that called for the internment of Japanese-Americans during WW2.
Muslim Brotherhood has been outlawed as terrorists. Soros is hoping for violence.

While there is much pontification and opinion about a judicial ruling by New York Judge Ann Donnelly, the decision is actually quite narrow. The judge’s involvement is specifically and narrowly only targeted to current permitted visa holders who were in the limbo zone between travel (during XO) and the denial of entry upon landing.
Despite the insufferable airport protests being promoted on U.S. MSM, there are less than 200 people nationwide who were in the limbo zone. The ruling stops DHS from forcibly turning around a group of currently valid visa holders arriving from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. Nothing more.

What I see are people that are coming out to be anti-American. Their focus is on illegals and refugees. If you do not place American citizens as the priority, or respect the Constitution or the United States, get the he l l out.
