BREAKING : EXPLOSION IN NYC CENTRAL PARK
Reports are coming in that a man had his leg blown off in Central Park this morning after stepping on “something” that exploded.
Eyewitnesses say the victim was walking along with a friend when he stepped on something and it exploded.
Free Republic is reporting that the incident occurred near Elie Wiesel’s funeral (Elie was a writer, political activist, and Holocaust survivor).
Witnesses report that the young man started climbing on a boulder in Central Park when he stepped on something and it exploded.
Witnesses say the explosion was very loud.
Early reports indicate the young man has lost his foot and/or part of his leg.
There’s no motive at this time.
