BREAKING : Disgraceful Obama Sending Two U.S. Reps to Fidel Castro’s Funeral
Wow, this just shows complete lack of respect for humanity.
Rather than call the tyrannical murderous dictator what he is like President Elect Donald Trump did, Obama feels it necessary to honor the communist leader’s death by sending two U.S. representatives.
USA Today Reports
President Obama will not send an official delegation to the funeral of Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro, but two Obama administration officials will attend and represent the United States, the White House said Tuesday.
Attending the funeral will be Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes and Ambassador Jeffrey DeLaurentis, the chief U.S. diplomat in Havana.
The unusual arrangement represents an attempt by Obama to maintain a policy of strengthening diplomatic ties between the two countries, while not honoring Castro with a more formal show of support from the United States.
“Obviously, so much of the diplomatic relationship with Cuba is quite complicated,” said White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest. “We continue to have some significant concerns about the way the Cuban government operates, including protecting the basic human rights of the Cuban people.”
Earnest described Rhodes as the “principal interlocutor” in Obama’s effort to normalize relations with the communist-run island after six decades of U.S. attempts to isolate the Castro regime. The presence or Rhodes and DeLaurentis is intended to “show our commitment to an ongoing, future-oriented relationship with the Cuban people.”

When I was young we were taught to hide under our desks because Fidel Castro threatened to attack the U.S. Mainland. That was when I learned to fear for my life and that of my brand newborn sister and brother and my parents.
I also did my first volunteer work helping the Cuban refugee children speak English and read so they could go to our school and feel safe and loved after their escape from the tyranny and oppression in Cuba. Many had family that could not escape and many had family and friends who died while trying to get to the U.S. I am having a very hard time with ignorant people who feel the need to honor this horrible man or attend any ceremony. My friends from Cuba I love you.
Will never forget my cuban neighbor in the 60s finding out about the death of her mother and not being able to call .The world is a better place without Fidel.
