BREAKING : Cruz Reveals His Clever Strategy to SILENCE Obstructionist Democrats
After a tough campaign, Ted Cruz is proving to be a valuable asset in helping push through an aggressive Trump Agenda.
What makes Cruz an especially valuable ally for Trump, is unlike weak establishment Republicans with Globalist philosophies not too different than Democrats like Paul Ryan, John Mccain, and Lindsay Graham, Cruz is ideologically on the same page as Trump.
Now, Ted Cruz is sharing his clever strategy to stop the pathetic obstructionist Democrats including clown Schumer and nut job Pelosi.

Democrats have slowed down the confirmation process for President Trump’s cabinet to historic levels. There’s no doubt that they’ll do the same when it comes to President Trump’s repeal and reform of Obamacare as well as his initiatives on tax reform and infrastructure.
But Cruz has found an obscure Senate rule that WILL put a stop to it.
The house version of the Obamacare repeal excludes a lot of conservative provisions because their inclusion could induce a Democratic filibuster.
But Cruz’s solution is simple: use the reconciliation process and allow Vice President Pence to decide what can be included in the “reconciliation.”
Reconciliation is a process by which debate on a bill in the Senate is limited to 20 hours. This in effect renders the filibuster obsolete because there is a fixed time when the debate begins and the vote happens.

Cruz argues that Pence, as the person likely to preside over the chamber at the most important moments of the healthcare debate, can decide what is and what isn’t eligible for the so-called reconciliation process. He says the Senate parliamentarian’s role is to advise, not to rule.
“Under the Budget Act of 1974, which is what governs reconciliation, it is the presiding officer, the vice president of the United States, who rules on what’s permissible on reconciliation and what is not,” Cruz told reporters Thursday. “That’s a conversation I’ve been having with a number of my colleagues.”
Democrats aren’t going to be obstructing the American people for much longer if the Senator from Texas pulls this off!
The process is very complicated and will still require a bit of maneuvering on the part of the Republicans. If they can pull this off, it means the Democrats won’t be able to stand in the way of anything.

I like it. I am tired of the democrats stopping everything. They never did anything but make things worse for us and they are determined to make sure no one makes it better. Time to stop them in their tracks.
The complexity of RULES in congress allows trickery but does not serve THE PEOPLE. Perhaps during Trumps second year, simple general rules can replace the mindless and endless rules now polluting government processes.
It’s clever, and actually I like it. But the problem may be with the “purists” Republicans in the Senate who might say that it’s simply a back-door repeal of the filibuster rule.
Quite obviously a total repeal and replacement of Obamacare could be fashioned and inserted into the budget reconciliation bill, and when the chair (Pence) ignores the Parliamentarian’s advice and rules that all of the Obamacare repeal amendments are “fiscally related”, there will be an uproar in the Senate. Pence would be, in effect, ignoring the truth and ruling against the obvious.
But, as they say, if one side has the votes they can do anything they so wish. The Chair would be challenged by the Democrats, of course, and his ruling would go to a vote. In theory, the Republicans would prevail with their 51 votes––if all the GOP Senators supported the Chair. It may not pass but it would be an interesting test in Party loyalty––and maybe even a vote they will have to defend on the primary campaign trail if they vote against the Party.
This is the best idea I’ve heard since Trump won the election. Needless to say, McConnell would fight this as hard as Schumer and that should tell you all you need to know about our Majority Leader – he isn’t worth a bucket of warm spit.
Schumer is an evil man. Uninformed people and probably a lot of dead people keep him in office. Him and the anti American, anti Christian Democrats must be defeated in this battle or America goes down for the count. I hope this works. I was anti Cruz during the election but now have found that I actually like the man now, because he is doing the right thing in the end. A Cruz 2024 run may have found a new fan.
Greg, I agree I am starting to like him as well. However, it does not change the fact that he is not legally qualified to run for President. He is not American born and that is one of the stipulations. You can check it out for yourself on the government website. He was born in Canada.

If it renders Shumer and Pelosi null i think it might be wort it however, my instinct warns me that there are risk. As Mr. Tom O’Reilly (above) pointed out, we dont want to shoot ourselves in the foot ancause some sort of liberal uprising. It seems to me that the liberals are willing to accept almost anything if you attach the word “free”. Maybe offer free govt health screenings or something to that affect, as part of the deal.
