BREAKING : Congress Preparing To Cut U.S. Funding to United Nations
Obama ambushed Israel when they abstained from a veto vote on a U.N. resolution condemning Israel’s legal settlements in the West Bank.
There was bipartisan outrage over the decision.
Ted Cruz called on Congress to cut funding to the United Nations.
….and we think that’s about to happen.

Congress is already setting the stage to cut off U.S. funding to the United Nations in the wake of a contested vote last week in which the Obama administration permitted an anti-Israel resolution to win overwhelming approval, according to congressional leaders, who told the Washington Free Beacon that the current administration is already plotting to take further action against the Jewish state before vacating office.
Other punitive actions by Congress could include expelling Palestinian diplomats from U.S. soil and scaling back ties with foreign nations that voted in favor of the controversial measure, according to multiple sources who spoke to the Free Beacon about the situation both on and off the record.
The Obama administration is still under bipartisan attack for its decision to help craft and facilitate the passage of a U.N. resolution condemning the construction of Jewish homes in Jerusalem, a move that reversed years of U.S. policy on the matter.

Republicans (Who were in Minority) Sending bills to Harry Reed, for a senate vote, and having Reed block every bill for a vote, and Obama Veto’s is not what I would call Republicans doing nothing. Even now the Democrats plan on blocking everything the President elect wants. Seems as party loyalty, and payback, is more important than getting our country back on track. The other large UN campuses are in Geneva, Nairobi, and Vienna. It’s not just about the US.

I agree. The UN is useless and has been for a very long time. Seems like all they want to do is issue sanctions and try to make people think they are important which they are not. Our homeless vets would love apts in that building. It pisses me off that our vets are treated so poorly. They gave everything for our country and now being treated like garbage is not right.

It’s actually not happening yet. Congress is not currently in Session. They are now on what is commonly know as a “Start Work Period”, which lasts until December 30th. The 115th Congress is due to meet Jan 3, 2017.

One thing you can do is write your congressman and ask that H.R. 1205 be moved from the House Committee on Foreign Affairs onto the House floor for a vote. This bill would terminate American membership in the United Nations (UN) and prohibit the use of American troops or dollars for any UN mission. Pass the word!
