COPS ARE BEING TARGETED in DALLAS, according to Sheppard Smith, of Fox News.

Police swarmed downtown Dallas Thursday after gunshots rang out following a protest and rally sparked by police shootings in other parts of the U.S.
Two Dallas police officers were shot, an officer at the scene tells NBC 5, following witness reports that people were hit. The extent of their injuries are not known.
The shootings took place as a rally and march in downtown was ending that showed solidarity for communities affected by officer-involved shootings this week in Louisiana and Minnesota.
Scores of police officers arrived downtown following the shooting, which took place about 9 p.m. near Main and Market streets and a block from the Old Red Courthouse building.
Officers could be seen taking cover as shots rang out.
Video from the scene showed people running from the sound of the gunshots. There is no word on whether any civilians have been shot.

The head of the NAACP in Baton Rouge on Wednesday called for the police chief to be fired after a Louisiana police officer shot and killed a black man during a confrontation outside a convenience store.
