US Army Warns Military Personal to Avoid 37 Cities on “Day of Rage” Protest List

The Army last week warned all military personnel in the United States to avoid 37 American cities this week over concerns that anti-police protests, dubbed “Days of Rage,” are planned and could turn violent.
The July 8 notice from the U.S. Army North said there is a potential for violence or criminal activities in the aftermath of the shootings of five Dallas police officers.
The Army notice appears based on an online rumor, since denied, that the anarchist hacker group Anonymous had called for nationwide protests Friday in the U.S. cities.
Snopes.com reported Tuesday that the rumor calling for Days of Rage protests is false and is based on an identical false posting that circulated online and in emails in August 2014, related to the Ferguson, Missouri, protests against police.
A U.S. Army North spokesman, Lt. Col. Jason Shropshire, said the safety of soldiers and their families is a high priority. “For security reasons, we don’t discuss force-protection measures that we put into place at our Army installations or the specifics of cautionary advice we provide to our soldiers,” he said.

I expect law enforcement PEOPLE to do their jobs! Protesters CANNOT BLOCK STREETS, DESTROY PUBLIC OR PRIVATE PROPERTY NOR BRING HARM TO AN POLICE OFFICERS OR CIVILIANS. Any means of police force MUST be APPLIED to any non peaceful or unlawful protests!
If any of these take place and appear to be detrimental to law abiding innocent US citizens, then lethal force should be used to stop it. We CANNOT allow these things to take place without serious consequence. They must be nipped in the bud.

It’s a vicious circle but are the shootings of black people likely to stop if they do nothing? No, they’re not so I understand the need to demonstrate but “Day of Rage” probably sounds confrontational to the authorities so they’ll make the most of it. I think the US Government is deliberately stoking up the tension as a precursor to imposing martial law and disarming everyone. So this kind of demo is just what they want. It’s a Catch 22 situation. If the black community do nothing it looks like they’ve just rolled over. If they demonstrate, and potentially riot, they’re playing the system’s game.
