IRONIC! As Arkansas First Lady, Hillary Celebrated the Confederate Flag

Hey, Hillary, I thought that the “Confederate flag” has ALWAYS been a symbol of “dark and evil racism?

It not evil or dark.

It’s a symbol of history and means a great deal to a lot of Americans.

However ironically, liberals have decided that the flag symbolizes racism.

Which makes it extremely ironic that Hillary, who now plays the part of a radical leftist against the Confederate flag, celebrated it every year as First Lady.

The Clintons even enacted a monetary fine for anyone violating the Confederate flag law.

 Arkansas Code Annotated, Section 1-5-107, provides as follows:

(a) The Saturday immediately preceding Easter Sunday of each year is designated as ‘Confederate Flag Day’ in this state.

(b) No person, firm, or corporation shall display an Confederate flag or replica thereof in connection with any advertisement of any commercial enterprise, or in any manner for any purpose except to honor the Confederate States of America. [Emphasis added.]

(c) Any person, firm, or corporation violating the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000).

In addition, her husband, then-Governor of Arkansas, Bill Clinton  signed Act 116 which stated that the “blue star above the word ‘ARKANSAS’ is to commemorate the Confederate States of America.”

We have no beef with the Confederate flag, what we do have an issue with is the desperate attempts by the left to paint Donald Trump as a “racist” when someone like Hillary has such a dark and racist past.
