ANOTHER NOT GUILTY VERDICT ON FREDDIE GRAY TRIAL
After 4 failures to convict, why does Marilyn Mosby still have a job?
For the fourth time Prosecutors in Baltimore failed to score a conviction in the Freddie Gray case.
Circuit Judge Barry G. Williams acquitting Lt. Brian Rice of all charges related to Gray’s arrest and death.
Rice, 42, was cleared of involuntary manslaughter, reckless endangerment and misconduct in office in a downtown Baltimore courtroom on Monday morning.
Judge Williams dismissed the second-degree assault charge midway through the trial.
Rice opted for a bench trial rather than a jury.
Judge Williams said that the prosecutors failed to meet the burden of proof beyond a reasonable doubt.
