This unhinged rant happened just before De Niro’s new movie, “The Comedian” opened.

I can never watch and enjoy God Father 2 and Goodfellows again..In fact I will never watch another mvie with DeNiro in it again..These actors don’t realize that we don’t care about them other than the rolls they play..They are so full of themselves thinking they have influence over us when in fact we have influence over them..If we don’t like you we will not pay money to see your movies.

It’s too bad Mr DeNiro didn’t just stick to acting. I always liked him when he was acting. Now, I won’t be able to forget his angry words about our new President. Even if you didn’t vote for the man, he is everyone’s President. You need to respect the office and the position, work together to make America a better place to live for everybody and promote unity especially at his age. I really expected him to be a grown up and to be mature. So much for expectations.

Might this have something to do with insulting the man that half your fans support? I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, celebrities need to stick with entertaining us and stay out of politics. We don’t care who you think we should vote for, we don’t care if you are going to leave the country if your guy doesn’t win, just leave.
